Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival Day Tour from Taipei

very good experience in taiwan. our tour guide Nicholas is very good. the tour is well organized because of him. i definitely want to try again this tour next time.

I chose a tour with a Japanese guide to participate with my parents. I was worried about the crowds, but I was given a numbered ticket to raise the lantern and was able to take a special bus to the venue, so it went very smoothly. The parents were also really happy to be able to experience the beautiful lantern raising. I made the right choice by choosing a tour with a Japanese guide!

I can say that despite of the bad weather it was all worth it it was magical when we flew the lanterns and Thank you to Mr. Gordon our tour guide he is super organized, efficient and he always make sure that we are safe and he is super fun. It was 11/10.

This is an unforgettable experience. Tourists from all over the world and Taiwanese people come together to release sky lanterns. It feels like placing more than a hundred sky lanterns in the sky together. I highly recommend everyone to try it!

There are other attractions nearby before the main event. It is a scaled down event compared to the actual day’s event but was glad to do this to avoid the crowd (since it is the Coronavirus period) and the long wait.

It was a really nice experience. The tour guide made sure that everyone is already complete before going inside the bus. Laurent is a very nice & friendly tour guide. The event itself was a little bit tiring due to the overcrowding of participants. But the releasing of the sky lanterns made it all worth it.

a really great experience. seeing all those lanterns all together flying up in the air. makes me feel like in the disney movie. it was raining but it didn't dampen the mood. kudos to klook for such a really great event.

Organized! Its just that there were TOO many people (given as it was a festival). it will take you a few hours - as in more than 2 hours standing while waiting - till you reach the stage area and be given your turn. 6 people share one lantern too. Make sure to bring food, a foldable chair and lots of patience.But overall the tour was a-ok, couldnt ask for more.
