Jakarta Half-Day Private City Tour

If it’s your first time in Jakarta, I highly recommend this night tour of Central Jakarta to learn a little about Indonesia’s history, see some of the landmarks of Jakarta, and sample some of the food on sale in the street food market. Nabila and Amin were great companions on this tour. Nabila explained the itinerary and answered our questions as best as she could, while Amin drove carefully and made sure we were comfortable.

My tour guide's name was Aisyah, a young Muslim woman. She spoke English a bit fast for me, but I gradually got used to it after a while. The highlight of the trip was the Istiqlal Mosque (Masjid Istiqlal), there were many scenic spots to photograph. The other attractions were more of a quick visit, just taking pictures from the outside. During the night market tour, we ate two kinds of satay and also drank Turkish coffee. Remember to bring your own water!

It was really nice to meet her and know Jakarta much more thru her. During business trip, we just went to mill and meeting place, no time to go to feel local culture and life. However, by thanks of her introduction, we can have a glimpse ofknowledge on Jakarta.

Aisyah, our tour guide, was amazing. she was bery patient in answering our questions. The places we visited were nice especially the Istiqlal Mosque. An honest review of 4 stars as there is always room for improvement. When we were at the monument, we missed seeing the dancing fountain. The highlight of the tour for me was the street food. The lamb sate was very tender and delicious I would want to visit that place again.

Very interesting night tour, the tour guide is very good, providing a lot of historical background of the attractions, allowing us to better understand Jakarta and the cultural background of Indonesia~

it was great but what made it even better was our tour guide, Desi. she was soooo helpful and accommodating. it was our 2nd tour with her and it was just fun and convenient.

Got Nabila as my guide.. she speaks good English n pretty well versed with the history of the city. Gives interesting facts on special buidlings n monuments. Also the driver is pretty safe driver... in good hands! Street food wise.. Nabila can give good reco on the food.

we had such an amazing afternoon with Riana and Edgar driving us around! as first timers in jakarta we were served with hospitality and they generously shared a piece of their culture :) i loved the most is capping the night with mei goreng, satay, and bintang beer! cheers!
