Hanoi - Sapa Sleeper Cabin Bus by Futa Ha Son

The operator contacted me via WhatsApp regarding the pickup location. The bus is large but the beds can be cramped. The aircon is working well. Travel time is about 7 hours. Sleep is nice and you have ample rest stops. This is the cheapest way to Sapa.

All is convenient. First we are picked by minibus from hotel, then they’ll drop us in a bus stop to switch into the sleeper bus. Bus is on time, comfortable enough and pretty clean. We will stop 2-3times during trip to have a break so no need to worry about hungry or toilet.

Cheap ride from Sapa to Hanoi. Bring only small bags on the bus as space is limited, big bags can be put in the luggage compartment. Journey took 6hrs, inclusive of 2 stops totaling 1hr. The first stop was just after an hour, and the second stop was after 3.5hrs. If you’re taking the afternoon bus from Sapa, food is available at the second stop at night where you can have your dinner. The toilets at each stop is chargeable at 3k dong.

journey was beautiful .seats are comfortable. The chairs are flat so you can sleep and the highway to Sapa appeared to be good.

The journey back from Sapa to Hanoi was a bit hassle as the bus is 90% full. Since some foreign passengers (some are old folks) and they need to get down at the airport, so they have prerequisite to sit at the floor seats. Ended up trio of us sit on the top seats which we find it not so comfortable for a long journey (my little girl is fine). My advice is the sleeper bus is for young couple don't have small child. If u r travel with old people or adults greater than 55 years old. I recommend to use KLook limousine or personal car (pay more a bit). If I travel again to Sapa with my siblings, I will surely try out the KLook Limosine this time. Overall the journey is smooth and thanks to the experient bus driver. It took us 6 hour 30 minutes (exclude the pit stop time) to reach Hanoi pick up point. 2pm departed, 9pm arrived.

The person in charge who will lead us to the pick up point I'd punctual, polite and helpful. Just that the whole 6 hour journey doesnt have any Co driver (may be they have get use to it). There are 2 breaks for passengers to drop off to pee/eat/drink/smoke(bus drove off at 7am, stop at 9.20am for break, start journey at 9.40am break at 11.50am. Each stop 20 minutes (depends). My recommendation to the operator Hanoi-Sapa. Pls have a hardcopy list with 4 columns for the passenger to sign in (boarding at 7am), sign out at 9.30am, sign in at 9.50am to continue journey. Sign out again at 11.50 and sign in at 12.10 to prevent any incident the driver didn know which passenger haven't come into the bus after the specified time. We delayed for about 20 minutes because of the incident. Bus driver was looking for missing passenger helpless. Just that a bit uneasy when the driver use phone when driving (which should be prohibited to secure passengers safety). After all it is the cheapest fare by Klook to go from Hanoi To Sapa. Tq KLook!

the bus is too small to sleep for a person who is above 6ft. our bus was scheduled for 10 pm but came at 12 am and we reached at 6:30 am. the price is very low compared to other buses.

I was nervous because I was traveling alone as a woman, but it was nice to have more time to sleep than I expected. They turned off the lights when we left, so I slept comfortably without reading the book I brought in case I got bored. It was more comfortable than I expected and it didn't take more than 6 hours. When we arrived in Sapa, the driver didn't turn on the lights, so it looks like he waited for the sun to rise before getting off. Heated eye mask, blanket provided, and the seats inside are probably air conditioned? It's a bit noisy, so it's great to have a headset! I was worried, but it was nice to sleep better than expected.

The bus to Hello Kitty was super cute, but the environment was getting better and I didn’t sleep well, but the driver arrived in Hanoi very early.

The first stop was after 2hrs, and the second stop was after 4.5hrs. At each stop, there’s food and souvenirs for purchase. The toilets are chargeable at 3k dong. Upon reaching Sapa, there will be locals touting unofficial taxi services and homestays.
