What to expect
Lake Shikotsu A beautiful lake surrounded by majestic nature appears when you run through the endless virgin forest. It is Japan’s northernmost ice-free lake (a lake that does not freeze even in winter), and was selected as “the cleanest water in the country”, and is known for one of the most crestal-clear water in Japan.
Lake Toya A caldera lake that was created by a volcanic eruption about 100,000 years ago. We will have lunch at Toya Kohan-tei on the shores.
Mt. Usu The first global geopark in Japan, which is a natural park where you enjoy the earth by nature observation trails, commentary signs and guides. You can take a ropeway tour to the top of Mt. Usu.
This is a recommended winter course that allows you to visit two representative lakes of Hokkaido in one day.

Reviews
I was the only foreigner in the group, but the tour guide and other group members took good care of me. The headphones had explanations in various languages. Lunch was eaten at a very beautiful hot spring hotel. It is not very convenient to go to Lake Toya from Sapporo, but this one-day tour is still worry-free.

Although we have multilingual headsets which provide us with narration and description of attractions coming up, when there's no narration and the lady guide will start to say some things about whatever she's relating to, it's only in Japanese, so there are occasions that we have no idea what every Japanese tourist is laughing or clapping about. I feel like I could have done this through a VR headset at home instead. Nothing relatable and personal about the tour.
Everything was great~ Even though I can't speak Japanese, they provided earphones so I could listen to the guide's voice in Korean. The background was so pretty. The guide and bus driver were all friendly.
Good to know
1.The Lake Shikotsu Cruise Boat is not in service and will not be available. Show your Regular Sightseeing bus ticket stub at Restaurant memere (restaurant and gift shop), and get 10% off on meals and souvenirs. (Not applicable to some items, Memer is closed irregularly.)
2.Lake Shikotsu Hyoto Ice Festival (Feb. 1 - Feb. 24) is optional, but due to limited to only 47 minutes, so if you plan to visit the festival, please be sure to meet back at the bus on time. If you decide to check it out, there will be an extra admission fee: adults ¥1,000, Elementary school students and under free.
3.Though there is a footpath to the summit of Mt.Usu, it is wise to wear clothing and shoes that are easy to move and walk in. You can get discount ticket for Brown Bear Zoo with showing your bus stub. (Adult:\900→\800 Child: \500→\400). If the ropeway is closed due to strong wind or inclement weather, you will receive a token of your trip to the ropeway , and will visit the Brown Bear Zoo instead. (subject to change.) ・This course may be cancelled in the event that the expressway or Bifue Pass closed due to heavy snowfall.
