Amazing aurora hunting experience! The guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. Great communication and feedback throughout the tour. Highly recommend!”
It was a surreal experience! Our tour guide was very helpful. He helped everyone put on the suits personally. We couldnt see the northern lights, but it a starry night. At the end, the warm blueberry juice was a treat after the freezing cold. Overall great service provided by them. Enjoyed thoroughly!
If there were no aurora, it would be just a trip to rest on the ice floe. Because there are many people in a group, they may accidentally bump into others while drifting. Because the lake is frozen, the drifting area is very small, but the tour guide is very good and good at explaining, so I think this trip is great. The blueberry juice and gingerbread at the end were delicious. I might have had the opportunity to eat cookies while waiting for the aurora, but I had to go home because of the bad weather.
Our guide Lea was PERFECT. It was our very first tour and we really enjoyed it. The suit was smelly but our guide was really caring and sweet so it was all went well. She gave us enough time to watch the NORTHERN lights and the stars was Fantastic! It was great experience.
The pick-up location is convenient, the process is simple, and it's quite a novel experience. However, it's a bit cold and smelly, so it's best to wear multiple layers of thin down. Also, there are cookies to eat.
It is an interesting experience, but it is recommended to check the weather before signing up. Only when the sky is clear can you have a chance to see the stars and auroras. If there is strong wind and falling snow, it will be very cold. After playing, there were gingerbread cookies and hot blueberry juice to warm up. Overall, the price is slightly expensive.
The floating suit was dirty n leaked. The floating time given was around 30 minutes so mostly likely you will not catch the Aurora
Don't worry too much about the local staff not understanding Chinese, because there are Chinese-speaking guides. Even if the guides are foreigners, they will slow down their speaking speed, making it easy for us to understand what they want to express. But unfortunately, on this trip we didn't see the aurora due to the cloud cover being too thick.
the water floating costume was stinky and not a perfect fit.
It was special experienced for us unfortunately no aurora.. N few of my friend get wet in cold weather!
