Rovaniemi Norvajärvi Northern Lights Half-Day Tour with Small Group

So happy to chase the Northern Lights in Finland again. The Northern Lights reflected on the lake are so beautiful. The weather is good today, and I'm very lucky. The weather is very cold, but this trip chasing the Northern Lights was worth it. Plus, there's a bonfire and food to eat, which is awesome! 👍

this was a great experience! we were skeptical due to the clouds but they managed to find a spot where we saw the aurora straight away! followed by a warm fire and snacks! the tour guides were both lovely and helped us take good photos!

The tour guide couple was very kind. The day before, they even reminded us that the weather forecast was not good and we might not see the Northern Lights, asking if we wanted to cancel. However, we decided to try our luck and go anyway, so we didn't cancel the trip. They picked us up around 10:30 PM. We didn't see the Northern Lights at the first lake, but we were very lucky to see them at the second lake! There was also a small cabin next to the second lake, where the tour guide couple prepared hot blueberry juice, sausages, small bread, and marshmallows. I highly recommend everyone join their tour!

This was a great experience for us. We were taken to 2 different places to see the Northern Lights and managed to see them. Guides were very friendly and helpful. They took great family photos for us and sent them to us. BBQ at the end was good way to warm up as it gets very cold. Would book it again. Highly recommend.

The guide was friendly, helpful and provided some bbq food and hot drinks to keep us warm in the super duper cold near the frozen lake. Although we appreciate the guide, she did tried bringing us to 3 locations to see, and helped taking photos, we were still disappointed we didnt not see any aurora which was our main purpose to join the tour.

Although the aurora wasn't very visible to the naked eye, the guide couple was cheerful and kind, and the tour was very enjoyable. I appreciate them accommodating the sudden change in the pickup location. I wish we had a little more time for taking pictures at the second lake, but overall I'm satisfied!
