Loved our stay at the Exeter Hotel in Reykjavik, comfortable bed, great breakfast, fabulous shower, good location. The staff were helpful when we asked to store luggage in a friends room until ours was available, plus they have a secure area to store luggage if you arrive early in the day as we did. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location near harbor and center. Loved the food options on premises.

Loved this hotel. Great location. Nice rooms (hallways &!rooms were a little dark). Bakery and restaurant attached to the hotel were both excellant.

La chambre était chaude, mais très propre. Les serviettes ne sont pas douces. Excellent sauna avec des serviettes douces.

The hotel is well located with a very good restaurant and bar. The amenities are fine, just what you need. Very friendly staff

This is a very nice modern hotel. The front desk people were great-- helped is with luggage, found us an adapter for our USA plugs, recommended restaurants, booked us a taxi to the airport. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy. The only bad thing was the lighting. Overhead lights above the bathroom mirror and the mirror near the door put your face in shadow so you can't see well enough to do makeup. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay.

Best place to stay. Fantastic staff, excellent location, and great view from Exeter rooms. One of the best bakeries in Iceland - Deig - and restaurants - LeKock - are both attached to Exeter making the experience even more fantastic in every way. Highly recommend.

Staff for check in/out were very friendly. Room was comfortable..has blackout curtains which is a must for July. There is a nice bakery and restaurant attached. Wish the bar would stay open later however. Closed at 11 pm!

Excellent, well-appointed rooms. Super convenient location- street parking available a couple blocks behind the hotel. Best part of the hotel was the location- it is connected to the bakery Deig (we had amazing bagels or donuts for breakfast every day) and the burger bar “Le Kock” (great vibe and good food- Parmesan potatoes were amazing). It was super easy to get to all the main tourist spots in the city from the hotel. Would absolutely stay there again!

Overall good location. Quiet, nice bedding, accessible restaurants, but two areas of concern. No bathroom fan. No way to cool rooms down except open window. No AC. Even tho it was cool outside the concrete walls held heat in. Opened door but did not cool off enough.
