The room was beautiful and huge. It was loud outside (our room faced the street), but with the fan on and the doors closed it was fine. We didn't need the ear plugs the hotel provided. Room was a bit dark with the windows closed, though. Lights were dim. Very romantic!

I'm sorry guys, I would avoid this one. I would never go back here. I booked this hotel because it was central. The rooms looked beautiful and had a pool. When I got there the pool was closed and wasn't open for the duration of my five-day stay. They offered me to use the pool in a joining hotel but that was a 15-minute walk, which was no use. My big issue was the rooms. Most of the rooms in this hotel are inward facing on a courtyard. There are no windows. The only light that enters the room comes through the main doorway, where you can open a panel to let light in. In doing so you expose your room to the other rooms facing the courtyard so there's no privacy whatsoever. If I'd been aware of this I would not have booked this hotel. The room was dark and dingy. The furniture was poorly made. The bathroom was really not very good standard and my shower was not anything but tepid. The staff were lovely, they were very helpful, and the breakfast was good. The hotel is beautiful to look at. I just wouldn't stay here.

Fantastic hotel. The breakfast was a highlight. Be warned that the bathrooms, though beautiful, were “open concept”. The location between the Palacio de Belles Artes and the Cathedral, right next to a wonderful walking street was perfect. No taxis needed!

I suggested on our last nite that breakfast plates should be pre-heated especially that mornings are pretty chilly. On the morning we left, I got a nice surprise with an omelette, fried beans and sautéed zucchini with corn on a hot plate! Just the best!

Breakfast was wonderful, the staff exceptional. The building is great and the room nice. However, the lighting in the room is horrible and should be changed. Nice rooftop hot tub.
