The room was a little smaller than the photos showed but everything else was great. The people, location and prize were reasonable.

This was our second visit within a year. The rooms are fine - extremely clean and comfortable if somewhat utilitarian. The hotel has absolutely no amenities, so it seemed a bit pricey considering that we reserved six weeks in advance. Last fall we only paid about 75% of what we paid this spring.

The suite was excellent—very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. However, the front desk service was disappointing. Upon arrival, the man at the desk was unhelpful and made us feel unwelcome. The following day, the woman at the front desk was rude to the cleaning staff and also unfriendly toward us. The room was great, but the customer service at the front desk definitely needs improvement.

Good afternoon. I am writing to notify expedia thaf my recent stay at the Hotel and the City had an issue w/ rodents that we did not notice until the morning of checkout. We were in NYC for NYU graduation and were quite busy only using the room to dress and sleep. I woke up the next morning and found mice droppings on the pillow and table next to me. we left quickly. I have never experienced that in a hotel situation and am shocked. I wrote to the unit owner and have received no reply. I think Expedia should ban this hotel from its site provide a refund to me. I did not go to the front desk because this was not a typical hotel but instead a private unit. Please advise.

The unit was fine, however, the shower was so small

Nice hotel in an excellent area of Manhattan. There was slight problem with check-in because the front desk is staffed by a security person and it wasn't clear what he needed from us to check in. Otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable and we had a very nice stay.

Room was very very small. Decent kitchen with full size fridge, 2 burner stove and microwave. The bathroom was a good size as was the shower. The full bed was so big compared to the room, there was barely room to move between it and the closet. (my feet were bigger than the space between them) It was like a game of Tetris sometimes moving around in there. But, I did enjoy it over all.

Very good communication with host and reply’s fast to anything you needs. Food around the hotel and everything is close and walkable

Loved the space, location and NYC vibe. I will book again! Thank you hosts for the great experience.

The apartment hotel was clean, comfortable and had a great bathroom and cozy beds and was the perfect size for our group of 5! It was close to everything. The host was very responsive to questions. The only thing that was less easy than a regular hotel was having them hold our bags the next morning after checkout. We had to wait awhile for staff to arrive in order to drop them off, where hotels have staffing 24 hours. It was a great stay, nonetheless and we'd recommend it to anyone with a larger group!
