We had a lovely stay. The couple running the hotel were very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and most of all the beautiful location of the hotel. It was an easy walk to the night market which had so many tasty treats. I'm the morning it was close to the lake to walk along the dock and see the sun rise. We loved it!

Perfect location, near the lake with a view from the balcony. Close to the cycle and footpaths and to the lively food market. Very warm and friendly owner/staff.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was very helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious. Even though there’s no elevator, the host took our bags to our room for us. Highly recommend The Deer!

We stayed at the family room. It was spacious and clean. The shops, restaurants and pier are all within 5 minutes walk (though most closes by 8pm). The path to the Sun Moon Lake cable car is right outside the hotel and within 10 minutes walk. Very convenient.

Kamangha-mangha Surprised by the modern facilities and cleanliness. Very happy with my stay there. Staff welcomed and gave recommendation on where to go and gave good advice on closing hours of the gondola.

Kamangha-mangha close to bus stop and pier, no elevator.
Staff are very nice, I left my luggage at hotel and when im come back to checkin. I found that they have move my luggage to my room already. so cute
