I was in an economy room for two, and it was a tight room but with that being said, I enjoyed my stay, bed was comfy and room was always fresh, staff was very helpful and helped me anytime I needed my room clean. I recommend this hotel it is in a perfect spot, short walk to the heart of Shinjuku and the station so you can go anywhere.

On the 3rd trip to Tokyo, this is becoming my go-to hotel in the city. Love the location and how neat, clean and functionally smart the room is. The convenient stores at the groud floor and B1 are super helpful. And there is an undergroud pathway connected to the subway (it's super long though).

Solo stay

cannot change room tempeture, you can only adjust the fan speed. Cleaning time is pretty load . Like most Japanese hotels room is small there no space to open up your suitcase and keep it open . I had to set my suitcase on the small coffee table . There's a laundry mat which was pretty much open when I was there. 3 or 4 mini stores on the property and maybe 10 restaurant on the 1st floor . It's a good 10 min walk to Shinjuku station , but the plus is Washington Hotel is connected to Shinjuku Station by an under ground walk way which is convenient when its raining
