Our Takayama and Shirakawago tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was well-organized and perfectly paced, giving us enough time to explore. Hao, our tour guide, was wonderful, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. She made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We especially appreciated her thoughtful recommendations on what to eat and what to see in both Takayama and Shirakawago. Because of her guidance, we were able to experience the best of both destinations. Special thanks as well to Ishida, who drove us all the way with such care and professionalism. You could truly feel that our safety was his priority. On our way back to the bus, he even made iced duck for us before we get on the bus, such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that made the day even more memorable. We would happily do it again, maybe in another season to see Takayama and Shirakawago in a different light.

Walang abala ang paglilibot sa Takayama at Shirakawago, kahit na mas gusto kong magkaroon ng mas maraming oras sa bawat lokasyon ngunit sa pangkalahatan ay hindi na kailangang mag-alala tungkol sa logistik. Maipapayo na magdala ng meryenda o pagkain dahil dalawang oras lamang ang ilalagi mo sa bawat lugar kaya hindi ka magkakaroon ng sapat na oras para kumain kung gusto mong maglaan ng oras sa paggalugad, oras lang para sa mga street snacks.

I highly recommend this tour. Although the drive was a bit long, seeing the snow-covered Shirakawa-go village makes you temporarily forget the fatigue of the journey. Takayama Old Town has a lot of delicious food and many souvenirs to choose from. The itinerary is well-arranged, with an appropriate amount of time spent at each attraction. The tour guide (Jia Jia) is friendly and reminds you of and supplements travel information along the way. She recommends delicious restaurants or snacks, takes the group members to a fixed location, and reminds them of the boarding time before letting everyone explore freely. This is different from the usual guided tour, where you don't need to travel together as a group and the tour guide explains everything while leading the way. This way is more relaxed, free, and stress-free. The group members this time were also great. Everyone was very punctual when getting on and off the bus, and the itinerary was not delayed at all. It was a perfect day.

The weather warmed up a lot, so the snow melted quite a bit, and the scenery was different than expected, but it was actually nice to walk around. There weren't as many tourists as I thought, so it was nice to move around and look around. Despite the guide's request, some people got lost, so the departure from the first spot was delayed, but thanks to the driver's handling, we were able to arrive at the second spot with plenty of time, which was great. More shops than expected were closed, but there were still plenty of places to see and eat, so it was fine. I was wandering around aimlessly alone when I met the guide on the street. They took pictures for me and were really friendly. I don't quite remember their name, but I hope their pollen allergy gets better. Their condition was getting worse, but despite that, they explained things and took care of me, so I had a good experience. Thank you.

Buong Karanasan sa Kamikochi Ang paglalakbay sa Kamikochi ay tunay na kahanga-hanga, napapaligiran ng nakamamanghang tanawin. Wala pang isang oras ang oras doon, kaya medyo minadali. Pero maganda pa rin sa kabuuan!

overall, this tour brings you to like 4 destination and you can sit and relax in the bus while the bus brings you there. I joined this trip on weekdays and no holiday, so traffic was smooth and no delays, hence the timing given in each location is just nice. our guide is 小刘, she is very nice, help us take pictures, help us to order lunch and help to serve too, she repeats instructions 3 times so that it gets to our head on the meeting time and place and the bus parking. She can speak, japanese, Chinese and English. To me, her English just need to try a little harder in practicing the pronunciation, but it is still very good, I can understand. she is very hardworking. the bus driver drives well too, I have a very nice ride and can sleep well on bus too. this trip is good choice, if you never been to these places, at least to go once. it is very interesting

Really worth it trip. It’s the highlight of my 2026 Japan trip. Shirakawago in winter is magical like straight from a story book or snow globe. Meet up point is easy to get to as it’s just in front of Nagoya Station. I was even from Kyoto and found the meeting place easily despite the ongoing construction of the landmark. One suggestion though is to shorten the time in Takayama and add it to Shirakawago as 1.5hrs isn’t enough to explore the area. The guide is also very kind. Kudos to Anny-san, she is very professional and considerate. Over-all really recommend tour!
