Cheap Bromo was the tour company we went with for our day tour to Mount Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall. We had the best day!! Our tour guide Tegar; he was so friendly, answered so many of our questions, made us feel comfortable and excellent English skills. I couldn't recommend more doing this tour is extraordinary everything you see. The early morning and long day is so so worth it.

Isa ito sa pinakadi-malilimutang biyahe na naranasan ko na may dalang maraming karanasan at lasa. Bagama't nakansela ang aming pagtungo sa Kawah Ijen dahil sa mga sunog sa kagubatan, binigyan kami ng mga alternatibong opsyon at pinili namin ang Isla ng Tabuhan kung saan nakasakay kami sa bangka, nag-enjoy sa aming tanghalian at pahinga sa dalampasigan bago namin ipinagpatuloy ang pag-snorkeling. Nagkaroon din kami ng pagkakataon na makuha ang aming mga video habang nag-snorkeling para panatilihing alaala. Lalo na ang aming tour guide at drayber na si G. Ruly na napaka-funny at masiglang kasama. Bukod dito, ang husay niya sa pagmamaneho ay talagang kapuri-puri kaya hindi na namin kailangang mag-alala nang husto habang ligtas niya kaming inihatid mula sa isang lugar patungo sa iba. Sa pangkalahatan, irerekomenda ko ang pag-book ng shared multiday tour na ito upang maranasan ang pinakamaganda sa Bromo at East Java. 💯💯

There's a website with more info of the actual itinerary and what to prepare after booking which was useful. Car is clean and guide is friendly. Booked 4D3N so not too rush. We were able to see the sunrise at Bromo & Ijen. Ijen was not too easy to climb, certain areas are steep. Also if you want to see both blue flames and sunrise you got hike fast. We didn't had time for blue flames but managed to get a good timelapse of sunrise. Local guide at Tumpak Sewu Waterfall directs you to all the photo spots and good at taking photos. He even managed to stitch up a short video with and background music for us in such a short time.

Ang gabay na si Widodo ay nakatulong at magaling na litratista! Nanatili siya nang nahirapan akong umakyat. Nanatili kami sa Jamilah H'stay, malayo sa bayan. Ang kwarto ay hindi soundproof at ang shared toilet ay maliit. Pero ang receptionist ay napaka-helpful. Araw 2: Seruni Viewpoint Ang driver na si Frankie ay palakaibigan. Sumakay kami ng jeep malapit sa Seruni VP at walang gabay, ngunit naging maayos ang lahat. Inihanda ang almusal bago magpatuloy sa Kawah Ijen. Araw 3: Kawah Ijen Ang aming driver ay magaling sa kabila ng mahabang biyahe mula sa Bromo. Ang Hadi Homestay ay maluwag na may mas magandang pasilidad. Nang 12:30 AM, nagsimula kaming mag-hike. Ang aming gabay na si Iqbal, ay napaka-helpful. Pinakamahirap na hike, ngunit dinala niya kami upang makita ang asul na apoy at lawa nang walang panggigipit. Great experience from start to finish! We had an absolutely amazing experience throughout the trip. Just make sure you are somewhat active for the hike! It can be quite exhausting to wake up early in the morning back to back, but it was definitely worth the experience. Our guide was awesome, explained everything to us well, took care of us well & made sure we were okay. Overall awesome 👍

Our three-day, two-night East Java volcano tour truly exceeded our family's expectations! We learned after booking that the Ijen crater was closed. The travel agency not only promptly informed us but also actively helped us adjust our itinerary, even adding the Madakaripura Waterfall, which turned out to be the most surprising and memorable part of our trip. The three-day, two-night private tour was absolutely worth it! We had a dedicated guide and driver with us the entire time. Our guide, Jiaxin, is a native Indonesian but speaks fluent Chinese, so communication was seamless. Along the way, he shared many stories about the volcanoes, culture, and local life, and he also took excellent care of our family of four. During the trip, my husband, who suffers from severe sleep apnea, had a very strong reaction to the high altitude. Jiaxin meticulously looked after him, especially during the climb up Mount Ijen, where he accompanied and supported him almost the entire way. This allowed me to focus on caring for our two children without having to juggle responsibilities between family members. His attentiveness and sense of responsibility truly touched us. (And we even saw the beautiful artificial blue fire at the volcano!) Throughout the journey, Jiaxin also adjusted the pace according to our family's condition, arranging timely breaks, helping us take photos, and recommending local delicacies, making the entire trip very relaxed and comfortable. At Mount Bromo, when we were delayed and missed breakfast, he quietly arranged for the hotel to save meal boxes for us, so we had food waiting as soon as we returned to the hotel – truly thoughtful. I must also commend our driver, Agus Botak. Every day involved long drives of over four hours, often on winding mountain roads in East Java, and sometimes even starting in the early morning. Yet, he was always energetic and drove smoothly, allowing us to rest comfortably in the car. For families traveling with children, a safe and reliable driver is incredibly important. What touched us most was that they didn't treat this job as a routine task; they genuinely cared for every traveler. These three days brought us not only beautiful scenery but also heartwarming human connection. This was the best travel experience I've had in Southeast Asia to date, which is why I'm writing this review so earnestly, hoping it can serve as a reference for others. From the travel agency's arrangements and the guide's professionalism to the driver's attentiveness, they left me with a wonderful impression of Indonesia. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. I also want to add that the cost of this private tour includes one meal, local guides for Madakaripura Waterfall and Ijen Volcano, all entrance fees, and necessary equipment, so there's no need to worry about additional expenses – it's truly worth it! ❤️

The driver arrived at the hotel 20 minutes before the scheduled time and was very friendly and enthusiastic. He sent us a detailed itinerary the night before. The waterfall tour guide was a young guy whose name I forgot, and he was also extremely warm and friendly. He kept taking videos and photos for us (and he is really good at taking pictures), and even made a short video for us at the end, which was awesome! During the trip, he also made stops to let us rest a bit, and English communication was not a problem at all!! Highly recommended!! The waterfall is truly super beautiful.
