It's a bit of a walk from Kagoshima-Chuo Station. There's a bus, so you might want to use that. There are various fish exhibits, but the main attraction is definitely the dolphin show. They put on a dolphin show with Kagoshima themes, which was unique and enjoyable.

Overall, the accommodation experience is excellent, with a perfect score for location and convenience. If you want to stay near the JR station, this hotel is definitely a recommended choice, and I will definitely stay here again!

Generally expensive, but worth the price. The service and staff friendliness are commendable, and a definite pros is that you don't need to go to a separate observatory to see Sakurajima, you can see it perfectly well from the hotel's own observatory or the hot springs.
The downside is that if you get assigned a room far from the hot springs, it takes quite a while to get there. Also, the hotel is too far from the city center, so even if you take the hotel shuttle, it can restreict your schedule or plans. Still, the hot springs alone make it worth visiting.
