松籟庵 (Shoraian) Kyoto Kaiseki Cuisine - Kyoto Arashiyama

The restaurant got tranquil environment and the meals are delicious. All waitresses are very professional and kind. The tofu cuisine is one of the best that we had experienced in Japan. Overall thumbs-up for this lunch experience and we highly recommended!!!

Ang lokasyon ay nasa loob ng parke, iminumungkahi na pagkatapos sumakay sa maliit na tren, maaari na itong lakarin, napakadali. Nakaupo sa loob, makikita mo kaagad ang Ilog Hozugawa sa tabi, espesyal na lutong tofu at kumbinasyon ng mga artista, isang kapistahan para sa panlasa at paningin!

Restaurant Ambiance: The ambiance of the restaurant is traditional Japanese in style. It is a perfect occasion to wear a kimono to enjoy your kaiseki there. However, I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes, such as sandals rather than clogs, for the rugged path to the restaurant. Taste: Since the kaiseki focuses on a tofu theme, the cuisine is expected to be a bland diet. Despite this, the cold sliced tofu is my favourite. This is because the chef first makes the tofu firmer than usual, then slices it into thin pieces to enhance its texture, resembling shaved ice. With a drop of soy sauce, the tofu becomes highly palatable.

Ang akala ko ay kakainin ko lang sa loob ng kalahating oras, pero dahil sa masarap na pagkaing tofu, umabot ako ng isa't kalahating oras. Napakaganda ng kapaligiran, at kahit ako lang mag-isa, inokupa ko pa rin ang isang malaking mesa, nakakahiya tuloy.
