We were so impressed by the kindness and flexibility during our stay. They accommodated an early check-in, had all of our luggage from our previous hotel waiting in our room, and even included thoughtful touches (handwritten welcome note).
The hospitality was exceptional and made this one of our favorite travel experiences. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

We thoroughly enjoyed Hotel Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. The room was so comfortable and very well appointed. The local beverages and snacks provided were thoughtful. Finally, we appreciate the staff who were especially welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This small hotel is perfect in every way. The room was surprisingly spacious relative to Japanese rooms, and the fall foliage from our balcony was lovely. But it was the sweetness of the staff that we will most remember. When an Uber failed to show, the manager came out and hailed a taxi for us. As we were leaving, I paused about a half block away to check Google maps; my wife noticed that the hotel staff that was seeing us of, remained outside to make sure that we were OK. What a lovely way to finish our visit to Japan!
