・HOP INN Kyoto Shijo Omiya will collect the tax at the front desk upon check-in. Please note that the room rates do not include the accommodation tax.

ACCOMMODATION TAX: THE TAX IS CHARGED PER PERSON, PER NIGHT. JPY 200 - 10,000 per person, per night, based on the nightly room rate.

As of 1 March 2026, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process.

The tax is determined by the room rate and is charged per person, per night, as follows:

【Accommodation tax from 1 March 2026, onwards】

For room rates less than JPY 6,000: JPY 200

For room rates from JPY 6,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400

For room rates from JPY 20,000 to less than JPY 50,000: JPY 1,000

For room rates from JPY 50,000 to less than JPY 100,000: JPY 4,000

For room rates of JPY 100,000 or more: JPY 10,000

 For the purposes of the accommodation tax, the term “accommodation fee” will refer to the room-only rate, excluding any meal charges and consumption tax. Please settle the payment at the hotel upon check-in.

[Smoking policy] The hotel's public areas and all guest rooms are completely non-smoking. Please use the designated smoking area on the hotel premises. A cleaning fee of JPY 20,000 will be charged if smoking occurs in the room.

[Important Notice on Room Capacity] Recently, we have received many reservations exceeding the room capacity. Please kindly review your booking details to ensure accuracy.

*At HOP INN Kyoto Shijo Omiya, children are not allowed to share beds with adults. They are counted as adults, and the same rate will be applied.

* Our hotel does not accept guests exceeding the maximum occupancy of a room. If the number of guests exceeds the designated capacity, you will be required to book an additional room, or we may be unable to accommodate your stay.
