Saker att göra i Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

Jag reste runt Hanoi med en endags stadsrundtur med buss som avslutning på en resa till Sapa med mina syskonbarn som bor i Hanoi, Vietnam. Jag var orolig eftersom det regnade hela morgonen, men vi gick ut och väntade medan vi åt lunch. Vädret klarnade upp, så det var väldigt bekvämt att boka biljetter direkt, byta ut dem i båset och sedan hoppa på bussen. Det var en rolig och informativ stadsrundtur, med hörlurskommentarer på olika språk vid varje sevärdhet, och den planerade timmen gick snabbt. Jag är nöjd med den öppna utsikten från andra våningen och luftkonditioneringen, vilket gjorde det bekvämt även mitt på dagen när det var varmt.

I can’t say enough good things about our guide Conor. He was at our hotel early to meet us and wait for the van. He was very friendly and asked about the rest of our stay in Hanoi, offering suggestions for the times we haven’t planned yet. During the Museum tour he was very knowledgeable throughout, was always able to offer interesting stories or bits of information, and avoided some of the redundant parts while putting more focus on significant events and displays. After giving us the history in each area he provided us time to view the pictures and artifacts on our own which lended more impact to the displays. He answered all of our questions very well, even those not directly related to the museums contents and he gave bits of additional information that made us want to research and keep learning about the subjects even after. highly recommend this tour, our guide, and the museum in general. Try to avoid days with school groups and if you do it in the afternoon definitely go into the museum first to avoid the hot sun during the outdoor displays.

Ett måste att boka! Reseledaren Kevin var mycket kunnig och förklarade allt i detalj. Mycket bra kvalitet för priset. Rekommenderas definitivt. Det var bara 3 personer på turen så det kändes mer personligt. Kevin tog riktigt bra bilder och guidade oss genom varje steg av hur allt gjordes. Vi fick praktisk erfarenhet och fick produkter samt kunde anpassa en hatt. Jag gjorde 1/2-turen och det var värt det. Boka och be om Kevin som din guide.

It was a great tour overall! We covered a lot of ground but it also did not feel rushed. Our tour guide Hue (Lily) was great! She was super knowledgeable about many historical things and tidbits on Hanoi and you can feel her enthusiasm in wanting to share it. Worth a try if you have a day to spend going on a tour :)

Jag hade en bra upplevelse. Jag fick se Hanois viktiga landmärken. Jag hade fel tidpunkt eftersom det var för varmt då. Jag föreslår att du tar bussen runt 17:00 och framåt för att se landmärkena med belysning på.

Pietro was such an amazing tour guide. From the moment we arrived on the bus he was full of energy and very charismatic. He made sure to give us a thorough understanding of each place we visited so we knew the history and importance of the place. We got lucky with a small tour since this is off season for tourists, and this was actually really nice because we got to ask all the questions we wanted. He took really great photos of us and took us to a really nice spot for lunch, explaining all of the foods we tried beforehand. We will probably go back to that restaurant a few times before I leave!
