Saker att göra i Poem Mountain

Thank you very much to the crew for specially arranging a wonderful spot for our 19th-anniversary celebration. It was very heartwarming, and the singer even performed a song to bless us. Regarding the pros and cons, here are my personal suggestions: Pros: Some staff members speak a bit of Chinese, which made communication easier. The staff were very friendly and punctual with arranging transportation and boarding the cruise. Customer service on WhatsApp was also very responsive. Cons: The cruise ship is a bit old. The tables and chairs in the outdoor plaza on the 3rd floor were somewhat haphazardly arranged, making it easy to bump into them when it was dark. For the return trip, the music was more electronic dance music (EDM), which I personally felt was not suitable for enjoying the scenery and romantic Ha Long Bay on a quiet night. The fireworks display was just okay, not very spectacular. As for the food, I found the seafood and cooked dishes to be less appealing than expected. As a Taiwanese person, I would say they weren't as delicious as I'd hoped. For the singing, I think romantic songs would be a better choice than the band. Overall, I feel the singing and EDM might be more suitable for younger people, but it detracts from the romantic atmosphere.

Vincent är en mycket trevlig guide. Han guidade oss på ett utmärkt sätt under hela resan och såg till att alla trivdes och hade roligt. Han tar dessutom fina bilder på alla. Sammanfattningsvis var resan fantastisk med fina platser, och det är ett måste att boka med Vincent. Det finns även god indisk vegetarisk mat tillgänglig.

En dagsutflykt till Ha Long-bukten lever verkligen upp till sitt rykte som "Havets Guilin"! 🌊 Vi åkte från Hanoi på morgonen, en bilresa på cirka 2,5 timmar. Även om det var en bit att åka var allt värt det när man fick se det turkosa vattnet och de tusentals kalkstensöarna. Att åka båt bland öarna kändes som att kliva in i en kinesisk tuschteckning. Till lunch serverades en skaldjurslunch ombord; smaken var ganska medioker, men det var väldigt mysigt att äta medan man kände havsvinden. Den största överraskningen var att paddla kajak och utforska grottorna, vattnet var så klart att man kunde se botten. Jag klättrade upp för de drygt 400 trappstegen på Ti Top-ön (Paradise Island), och utsikten över hela Ha Long-bukten från toppen var helt andlös. Tidsmässigt är en dagsutflykt ganska tight, så jag rekommenderar att stanna över natten om man har möjlighet. Men som en kortare upplevelse är det mycket prisvärt och kan varmt rekommenderas! Vår guide Johnny var engagerad, hjälpsam och mycket noggrann – stor tummen upp!

Absolutely wonderful!!! Delicious food, a great selection at the buffet, everything hot and tasty. The guide was an absolute sweetheart, with excellent English and amazing charisma❤️ We visited two caves and an island with a beach. The cruise ship itself is very well-equipped, with showers, a jacuzzi, and a bar. The only thing that would have been great is if there had been free plain water on board.

En fantastisk upplevelse på dagskryssningen med Ambassador. Herr Hoang tog särskilt väl hand om oss och gjorde vår smekmånad verkligen speciell. Ett stort tack till den indiska maten de serverar, den är godare än den ser ut.

My wife, daughter, and I participated in the 6-hour Halong Bay Cruise tour (in Japanese). In the morning, we were picked up promptly at the hotel lobby at the agreed-upon time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything fluently in Japanese, even incorporating some puns. Although the bus seats didn't recline, it was a comfortable ride, cool and a welcome escape from the heat outside, with decent seating. As soon as we boarded the cruise ship, a seafood lunch was served. The air-conditioned cabin offered a good variety of dishes, not overly luxurious, but certainly filling. For the cave tunnel experience, I highly recommend kayaking over the bamboo boat. Sung Sot Cave involved quite a bit of uphill and downhill walking, which made our knees a bit wobbly, but the cave itself was incredibly vast and impressive. Afterward, the view of Halong Bay from the observation deck on Ti Top Island was absolutely stunning. On the way back, we stopped at a rest area for dinner and were treated to pho (which we'd been eating daily on this trip, with varying taste and quality). It was a long day, from 8:10 AM until 8:30 PM, but thanks to our tour guide, it was a very enjoyable tour.

Amazing and seamless experience, from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and back! Will definitely recommend booking this tour, and hope Ori will be your guide! She is the best and is very hospitable, her English is also very good.
