Framför allt doftade det gott av trä inne i byggnaden, och de praktfulla mönstren och målningarna i varje rum var mycket imponerande. Dessutom var all personal trevlig, vilket gjorde besöket mycket angenämt. Alla som besöker Nagoya borde definitivt besöka Nagoya-borgen. Vår upplevelse med VASARA Kimono Rental i Nagoya var enastående. Även om denna plats hade färre yukata-val än jag förväntade mig, kompenserade personalen mer än väl för det med sin vänlighet, entusiasm och genuina omsorg. Jag hoppades kunna bära en röd yukata för att matcha min frus, men ingen fanns tillgänglig. Personalen gjorde det lilla extra och sökte igenom oöppnade lådor tills de hittade en vinröd yukata med drakmönster. De matchade den med en blå obi med ett vattenmönster. De klädde också min fru och dotter vackert, och förvandlade min son till en ung samuraj. Att se hela vår familj klädd tillsammans var en höjdpunkt på vår resa. Att promenera genom Nagoya och besöka Nagoya slott i yukata kändes uppslukande och speciellt. Vi fick många vänliga komplimanger och interaktioner längs vägen. As we were the only family joining the tour on that day, it became a private tour and we got to travel to Nagoya in a comfortable ride with the tour guide, Jin, driving professionally. Really impressive itinerary and plenty of time in every location. Weather was a bit rainy, but it made the atmosphere iven more special. Enjoyed it a lot! Guide Han is super nice and gave plenty of information about the places we are visiting but also about Nagoya.

Jin and our bus driver were quite knowledgeable, adaptable and kind. Ensure you’re prepared for the journey as it does involve a lot of walking as per the description. We thoroughly enjoyed all the places we visited. A definite must-do if you have a free full day in Nagoya. Thank you!

If you are worried about not knowing how to get to the meeting point, we recommend visiting it a day in advance. The driver will also send a message the evening before to confirm the meeting time and location. This tour had a small group size of only 10 people. Although it seemed we signed up for a Chinese-speaking tour, there were also foreign tourists in the group. The tour guide gave the impression of being a full-time driver and part-time guide. Since he needed to focus on driving the entire time, he couldn't provide any commentary about the attractions while on the bus, which was a bit unfortunate; he usually could only say a few brief words upon arriving at each destination. However, I would suggest that the driver at least proactively inform passengers of the upcoming travel time, otherwise, every time we got back on the bus, we had no idea when we would reach the destination. Reviews of the attractions are as follows: • Inuyama Castle: The scenery is gorgeous. Both the ancient castle architecture itself and the distant views from inside the castle are well worth seeing. However, please note that you need to climb four floors to reach the top, and each step is extremely steep (about twice as high as a regular staircase). If you are traveling with elderly family members, this will be physically exhausting and potentially hazardous. • Ena Gorge Bridge: If you visit in the summer, the scenery is very ordinary and this stop can be completely skipped. • Magome-juku and Tsumago-juku: These places preserve a strong traditional architectural style and are dreamily beautiful, making it feel like you've traveled back in time. If you enjoy hiking, we highly recommend trying the ancient trail hike between the two post towns; you just need to stay in touch with the driver in advance and arrange to meet at the endpoint.
