Hotell i Tochigi Prefecture

The hotel does not provide a shuttle bus. There's quite a distance from the station to the hotel, and the worst part is a rocky path leading to the hotel, which makes pulling luggage very difficult and is extremely damaging to the wheels. Other hotel facilities are excellent.

Hotel looks new and clean. The parking is just next to the hotel at overnight rate 1200 yen. Our room comes with 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed, room size just right for our family of 3. Staff was excellent, I accidentally left behind an item in the room and they helped me to retrieve it. In fact, I booked the same hotel for another night stay on my return trip to Tokyo. Highly recommend!

Convenience of transportation: Close to Tobu-Nikko Station, about a 5-minute walk. Very convenient transportation. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. I booked a three-night stay this time and had a good experience overall. Breakfast: It wasn't possible to select breakfast during booking, but it was actually included. Personally, I thought the breakfast was very abundant, featuring eggs, milk, salad, bread, and curry rice.

very friendly lady. Spoke English well. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. I would recommend it if you are going to NikKo on a budget.

The location is perfect for walking to all of the shrines and temples in Nikko. We stayed in the renovated complex, which we definitely recommend, as the rest of the property is a bit dated (though it still has charm and history). For arrival, you should either travel with light luggage or take a taxi (cost is about 1,100 yen from the station), as the final stretch to the hotel is quite steep and not well-suited for rolling suitcases.

Grandpa Hua Recommends | Utsunomiya City Center Accommodation, Conveniently Located Utsunomiya Tobu Hotel Grande During this trip to Utsunomiya, I stayed at: 🏨 Utsunomiya Tobu Hotel Grande If it's your first time visiting Utsunomiya, I think there is one key point when choosing a hotel: Location is truly important. Especially when we went out to look for dinner around 8 PM and realized that quite a few restaurants in Utsunomiya close earlier than those in Tokyo, staying in the city center makes things much more convenient. This hotel is: ✔️ About a 5-minute walk from Tobu-Utsunomiya Station ✔️ Located in the center of Utsunomiya ✔️ Within walking distance of Utsunomiya Futarasan Shrine ✔️ Convenient for finding restaurants and exploring the city center nearby The hotel itself is a relatively traditional urban hotel rather than a trendy, design-focused one. However, if you are like me—spending the day out visiting attractions and needing a conveniently located place to stay at night without any extra hassle getting back—I think this place is very practical. Especially for itineraries combining Nikko and Utsunomiya, Utsunomiya works great as one of your accommodation bases. 📍 Utsunomiya Tobu Hotel Grande 📍 5-12 Honmachi, Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture 📍 About a 5-minute walk from Tobu-Utsunomiya Station #GrandpaHuaRecommends #Utsunomiya #UtsunomiyaAccommodation #UtsunomiyaHotel #TochigiTravel #NikkoTravel #JapanIndependentTravel #JapanAccommodation
