Čo robiť v Claude Monet's House and Gardens

6. septembra som sa zúčastnil jednodňového zájazdu do Van Goghovej izby, Monetovej záhrady a Versailleského paláca. Bol to zážitok v malej, exkluzívnej skupine. Náš sprievodca bol veľmi profesionálny. Na mieste posledného odpočinku Van Gogha sme videli zlaté pšeničné polia vlniace sa vo vetre. Okrem toho, turisti nemuseli čakať v rade na kúpu lístkov a mohli rýchlo vstúpiť. Monetova záhrada bola nádherná, kvety kvitli všade, japonský most ponúkal malebný výhľad a lekná v jazierku akoby čakali na svoje krásne rozkvitnutie. Versailleský palác bol vysvetlený veľmi podrobne, čo nám umožnilo spoznať slávne obdobie Ľudovíta XIV.

I went there because I was invited by a relative who is currently staying in Paris. Since I had visited the Orangerie and the Orsay Museum the day before, I was even more deeply moved. I'm not very knowledgeable about paintings, so I don't think I would have made the effort to visit if I hadn't been invited, but it was absolutely the right decision to go. It was the most memorable place of this trip♪

Monet's house and gardens were very beautiful, and I was able to enjoy the scenery of the Normandy countryside. The length of the stay was also just right. However, regarding the meeting time, I had booked the 9:00 tour, but the instructions for other meeting details stated 8:15, which was confusing. In the end, I went to the meeting point at 8:00 and waited for an hour. Since there were several other groups in the same situation, I hope the descriptions can be made consistent. The tour itself was very good.

Doprava a harmonogram uľahčili návštevu oboch miest v priebehu jedného dňa bez akýchkoľvek starostí s logistikou.

Nádherný, dobre zorganizovaný výlet. Čas strávený na každom mieste bol správny. Personál bol mimoriadne priateľský a ústretový. Užila som si každú chvíľu. Keďže sme boli len päťčlenná skupina, mali sme veľmi pohodlné auto dobre vybavené fľašami s vodou a dlhými nabíjacími káblami. Sprievodný personál bol veľmi milý a mal odpovede na všetky naše otázky.

My spouse and I took a day tour of Giverny and Versailles. By chance, we were the only participants, making it a luxurious private tour. We were a bit tired and sometimes found it hard to concentrate on the English explanations, but our guide, Dario, was consistently calm and patiently explained everything. We would love to request Dario again on our next visit to Paris. He was also an excellent driver. Thank you very much.

this is not a guided tour. we just had a driver that got us to and from the attractions

Michael was an incredible guide! He knew what he was talking about and he was very funny and witty, I had the best time. Both places are beautiful and it was really good learning about Van Gogh and Monet. Definitely fell in love with Van Gogh and his work, especially after visiting Auvers-sur-Oise. Worth the trip for sure and would love to come back to take my son!
