Plavby Fiordland National Park

Celodenný výlet Doubtful Sound Wilderness Day je úchvatným únikom do jednej z najodľahlejších a najzachovalejších krajín Nového Zélandu. Zatiaľ čo scenéria je nepochybne svetová, náš sprievodca, Peanut, skutočne urobil tento deň výnimočným. Od chvíle, keď sme nastúpili, Peanutova odborná jazda a hlboké znalosti divočiny Fiordlandu boli plne viditeľné. Prejazd strmým priesmykom Wilmot Pass bol bezproblémový a jeho komentár poskytol fascinujúci pohľad na jedinečnú ekológiu a históriu regiónu. Čo však odlíšilo tento zážitok, bol jeho nákazlivý humor; počas celej dlhej cesty udržiaval celú skupinu v smiechu a zaujatú. Stretnutia s divokou zverou boli vrcholom. Vďaka Peanutovým bystrým očiam a načasovaniu sme boli svedkami vzácnych pozorovaní hravých delfínov tancujúcich pri lodi a tuleňov vyhrievajúcich sa na drsných skalách. Pre deň plný smiechu, neuveriteľných odborných znalostí a tichej majestátnosti „Zvuku ticha“ je tento výlet absolútnou nevyhnutnosťou.

It was a really nice experience and the guide is really friendly, knowledgeable, and humorous :) The bus transportation was on time, we weren’t rushed at every landmark, and we took lots of pictures!

Although we didn't catch the spectacular sight of a thousand waterfalls in full flow, it was still a very worthwhile trip — at least four or five waterfalls are "open for business" year-round. Along the way, we also stopped at several scenic spots, and the bus driver was quite witty and humorous, giving us introductions to the various activities available. Highly recommended.

the registration was smooth, even the boarding and off boarding. Watching the engine room was exciting. Farm tour and the tour guide was very informational. I was excited and enjoyed the most was feeding the animals, removing the sheep's hide, and watching kim (dog) hearding the sheeps. The tea (coffee, juice) and light snack were also sufficient and taste well. Overall the experience was exemplary. Great for solo, couples, and families with kids.

Had an amazing time at this tour! We had super friendly guides named Olivia and Brian who kept us entertained and were very knowledgable. Highlights were seeing the vast amount of fish through the glass bottom and driving into one of the caves! We even managed to briefly spot dolphins which was brilliant! Weather turned out so for us luckily but would pay to double check if it doesn't look great.

We thought the road trip already had amazing reviews but it wasn’t until we went on the cruise we knew there is a much better view on the ocean! There are many different cruise companies and the Pure Milford boat is definitely the better looking boat out of the lot! So we were happy with that. Tip - best seats are at the lower deck and at the front of the boat! Also loved the commentary during the cruise and also get complimentary tea, coffee, hot choco etc. Milford rains about 250 days in a year and we were very lucky to get a sunny day. So definitely bring a warm jacket, sunnies, beanie and maybe a raincoat. Thank you again for the amazing cruise!

Objavovanie Milford Sound so Southern Discoveries bolo skutočne jedným z najnezabudnuteľnejších vrcholov výletu. Celý zážitok pôsobil bezproblémovo – od chvíle, keď sme sa prihlásili, až po úchvatnú plavbu fjordom. Ich personál bol priateľský, informovaný a skutočne nadšený pre toto miesto, zdieľal príbehy a fakty, ktoré urobili cestu ešte zmysluplnejšou. Plavidlo bolo pohodlné s množstvom miest na pozorovanie a panoramatické okná uľahčovali pohľad na dramatické útesy, bujné dažďové pralesy a kaskádovité vodopády. Priblížiť sa k vodopádom Stirling a Bowen bol neskutočný moment – doslova cítite striekajúcu ľadovcovú vodu, keď sa loď jemne pohybuje.
