This pass was really great value for money and I used it well. It's excellent for the price, and I'd love to visit Shikoku again in the second half of the year. Although some people might not know, you can use it on all buses except for a few in very rural areas, and seating is generally open.

If you have enough stamina, this is definitely an excellent choice for a San'in-Sanyo trip, as you can reserve seats an unlimited number of times (the machine can only reserve same-day seats and only 6 times). Therefore, it is recommended to plan your travel itinerary and have the service center staff assist you with booking all transportation for the current day and beyond, which will save a lot of time. 3. It is advisable to learn how to take local buses, as transportation in some Sanyo areas is not well-developed and requires a combination of luggage storage and buses. 4. This transportation pass is definitely worth buying. You can exchange your voucher at Hiroshima Station, and it allows you to reserve a seat on the Shinkansen six times using a machine. I visited Kurashiki, Onomichi, Fukuyama, Okunoshima, Kure, and Miyajima. For Miyajima, I only had to pay a 100 yen island tax, which was very convenient and practical.

If you're planning to visit Kannonji Temple, I highly recommend buying this ticket. You can also stop in Marugame along the way. However, if you're coming from Kansai and already have the Kansai JR Wide Area Pass, then you might want to reconsider.
