I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and it’s truly amazing. The style of the hotel, decor, bedrooms, pool deck - all amazing. The hotel is located in a lovely part of Gaia, short stroll up the river to the main bridge in Porto. It’s a special place for an amazing stay. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at Forte de Gaia Autograph Collection was absolutely outstanding. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. Every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay—they are truly the hotel’s greatest asset. The pool was the perfect place to relax after exploring Porto, with excellent service throughout the day. A special thank you to Flávio, the bartender, for his friendly service and great hospitality. He made every visit to the pool bar a pleasure. The location is ideal, with easy access to the local shops, restaurants, and all the charm of Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto. And the breakfast deserves a special mention—an easy 10/10. The selection, quality, and service each morning were exceptional. Thank you to everyone at Forte de Gaia Autograph Collection for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return

The property was amazing! It was quaint, cozy, and beautifully decorated. A moody atmosphere with a ton of staff. The pool was private and secluded. Highly recommend as it was conveniently located to a busy shopping and Restaurant area and a easy Uber ride across the bridge to the city center.

I did not get a printed bill so have no idea what i was charged for, i was charged 39 euro for a glass of wine without being asked if that price was okay, felt like i was being taken advantage of at each turn amd pretty upset. The staff are cur courteous but trained to push an agenda rather than understand what the guest wants.

We had a great experience at this hotel, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful. There’s a good selection for breakfast. The hotel’s location is very convenient as there are restaurants nearby and it is very close to the riverside. Getting in to town via Uber is very good value for money, there is also a bus stop around the corner.
