Clean rooms and mainly friendly staff but very busy, so hard to get fast service. Very convenient for the canals and main shopping streets but about a 10 minute uphill walk to the main Otaru station and about a 20 minute walk to Minami Otaru station up the main tourist shopping street.

The stuff was very friendly. The room was clean, but very small. If you arrive with a small suitcase it is fine. But if you have stuff for skiing you will not find any place or cupboard to store your items. They don’t have a dry room. So you have to leave your Ski equipment in the lobby and the stuff takes care of it.

It was great, room was nice. People are nice. I got stuck on the carpark opposite from the snowstorm, the guys/girls at the reception came and tried to help me unstuck the car. There are only 2 washing machine/laundry though, so if you forgot to take the laundry out, they normally put out a card on the machine to tell you get it from the reception.
