Hotel Brooklyn

The biggest issue was the room temperature. The room was extremely hot. There was a mini-split air conditioner on the wall, but it never cooled the room down. I would estimate it stayed around 85°F the entire time. I also think the price was much to high for a single night, especially since we didn’t have good ac. At first, we assumed it just needed time to cool the room after we arrived. After a few hours, we went to the manager to ask if we were using the remote incorrectly. He came to the room and even swapped out the remote, but it made no difference. The room never got any cooler. On the positive side, the location is excellent. It’s just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around very convenient. The room itself was just average in terms of furnishings—nothing particularly special.

There are some stairs which is not convenient when you have luggage.

Really nice spot

I loved the vintage-ness this hotel brings and the staff was really friendly and helped with calling a taxi when I needed it. The location was also great since it was close to the train station and shops/restaurants so it was walking friendly. What I didn’t like about this place was the WiFi was horrible and I couldn’t tell if there was mold near the ceiling above the shower.

Wifi never worked!!!! Also our cellular service didn’t connect inside the building. Not sure what the reason was. Nice small boutique hotel. Location was great but noisy at night. Overall an OK stay.

Staff and location are perfect. But the place is so poor and the WiFi is not working most of the time.

Needed repairs. Unfinished work. Exposed cables. Needed paint in some areas. Too bad didn’t took pictures to show. Step to bathroom is very high. Toilet was almost against the wall. Great location and service but needs some update.

Our room was lovely and super comfortable. This property was close, but not too close to the Train Station and also close to many of the things that we wanted to see.

Perfect location for a night near Santa Maria Novella. Restaurants around, nice staff, simple room.
