Hotel Boccaccio

Nice air conditioning, tea pot in room very nice. I didn’t realize we didn’t have breakfast included, so make sure that’s in your reservation. The ladies at the desk were very nice, but had a little confusion about our reservation and thought we would have to go to the other hotel, Britannia. But I showed her my reservation and they got us a room, but it didn’t have working air-conditioning. They were quick to give us the room next to it, which had great air-conditioning.

The Air Conditioning could not be left on during the day which made the rooms very hot and could not be turned lower the 19C.

This is a great location very near the train station and other public transportation that allows one to walk to most attractions with relative ease. One key feature is that they will hold luggage and are quite helpful and skilled in that regard. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boccaccio hotel during our visit to Florence. The hotel was spotless, and the entire staff was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Its location is excellent, within walking distance of many of the incredible attractions that make Florence such a beautiful and unforgettable city. The train station is also very close, so you won’t need a taxi. There are also plenty of great restaurants and lively bars nearby, making it easy to enjoy the local food and atmosphere. The included breakfast served at the small bistro was delicious, with fresh and tasty options each morning. And the cappuccino… simply magnifico! 🤌☕ It was the perfect way to start each day before exploring the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence. Thank you to Albi and and the entire team for helping make our trip even more memorable! Ideal location to all sights and train station. Quiet room and area. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Helpful staff. Close to train station. Powerful a/c. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to most tourist spots. Love the shower. Can be late night traffic noise so consider ear plugs.
