Good value hotel right next to train station - great location for walking around Takayama. Access to Onsen at WAT hotel - lovely experience after a day touring the town.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa in Hakone! The villa was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. We loved the traditional Japanese design combined with modern amenities, and everything we needed was provided.
The location was peaceful and made it easy to relax after exploring Hakone. It was also convenient for getting around and visiting the local attractions. We especially appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was.
The hosts provided clear instructions, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. This stay gave us an authentic Japanese experience while still feeling like home.
We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Japan and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and memorable place to stay in Hakone. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 🇯🇵🏡

This was a perfect midway stay on our trip! The rooms were HUGE and having the in house laundry on 40° days was a life saver!

Very close to the station and easy access to the bus station. It’s also easily walkable to the downtown and stores. Room is clean, and it has a washer and dryer. I just hoped the rooms connected to each other or could accommodate more than 2 people per room since there’s plenty of space in the bed. This way we won’t feel so disconnected and distant to our kids traveling with us.

Everything was great, but I would suggest avoiding having non-Japanese staff at the reception. The non-Japanese girl was particularly rude.

Stayed with wife and 2 children. Conveniently located beside Takayama train and bus station. Clean and spacious. Partnership onsen is at another building which is 7-10min walk away. Will be perfect if it is in the same building.

We loved this hotel. It is super spacious(family of 5), amenities were amazing and it is located next door to the bus station. Less than 15 mins from the old Village. They even includes free drinks. I will stay here again when I visit Takayama.

Extremely large room, fully equipped with a kitchen, dining area and washer/dryer. Room had a balcony with a great view of the city and mountains. In unit laundry was great, but note that a single load would take hours to wash and dry.
Staff was friendly and very professional and polite. Check in/out was smooth, quick and seamless.
Hotel conveniently located right next to the Takayama bus station, and within walking distance to attractions like Miyagawa market, Showa-kan museum, etc. Family Mart and 711 nearby along with many restaurants.

Stayed with wife and 2 children in a suite. Spacious and clean. Helpful staff well versed in English. Suite comes with kitchen, living room, fridge, oven, washer and dryer. Offers free japanese calligraphy at level 2. The only minus is that the onsen is not within the building but a 7-10min walk to another building located further down the street. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor, sauna as well as sauna. There are a few free private rooms but likely to be occupied unless you are in luck.
