Meet Holiday Hotel

Pros: great location, lovely pools, grounds like a small oasis . Room big - dated but clean . Nice size balcony. Nice atmosphere , friendly staff . Laundry on site which is a godsend - the lady in there is amazing . Clean towels and bedding in the room daily. Cons : As lovely as the grounds are the pool area could do with a jet wash (pool cleaned often I must add) The loungers, umbrellas , patio need attention . There seems to be one maintenance guy doing all and I don’t think there’s enough hours in the day to do all . Breakfast - just weird . Staff in there try but cups, Cuttlery , butter etc run out often . Breakfast is like a full Asian meal but you can get an egg/omelette. Again the floor and windows in the breakfast room could do with a good wash . Expedia needs to update the details of the hotel - there is no roof terrace or bar , the beach across the road is not for sunbathing - it’s where the long tail boats moar (still beautiful) There is no winery attached to the hotel for wine tasting ?? Strange thing to put as wine is very expensive there - 30% import tax. We were a family of 13 - even though there’s not a lot of loungers etc it’s no problem , people come and go , including us, throughout the day to go on trips - it literally is a hotel to meet ! The nearest beach with loungers etc is Nai harn beach - 200bht in a grab , which has beach bars (very nice it is too) Despite the few negatives , we would definetly stay at this hotel again . Its value for money

We had a great time staying here (almost 4 weeks) Pro : location fab - lots of restaurants along the strip, favourite Nikita’s. just 10mins in a grab to Naihan beach. Pools are great, if not a little small but people come and go so you can usually get a Lounger. Towels provided in your room . The grounds are beautiful- there’s one maintenance guy that seems to do everything ! Our room was dated but clean . Beds so comfy and sheets crisp . Nice balcony area..laundry a must - the lady is so helpful (and cheap) People in Rawai are friendly and helpful. Cons : whilst the pool is maintained and cleaned , and the grounds are swept , the loungers/shades and patio around the pool could do with a jet wash. Plus more then one of us have caught our foot in the pool from old lights that have been removed ? Breakfast - get there between 7&8 to ensure everything is available - cups, butter, Cuttlery etc it could also do with a good wash on the floors and windows ! Breakfast ok - staff do their best. The beach nearby is for boats only . Not sunbathing ! Also said theres a winery attached . Not true ??! Also no rooftop bar (or any bar within the hotel ) so definetly needs updating (on Expedia for sure) Would we stay here again ? Yes - it is value for money , if you can over the nooks and crannies !

Not great, not bad, kind of just mediocre. Rooms were not well insulated so hard to regulate the temperature and could hear guests in the rooms on all sides just talking conversationally. Used amenities such as coffee/cream/toiletries not replaced when the room was serviced but the rooms were clean and the staff pleasant.

Breakfast items were restocked quickly. The room was a generous size with Thai wood floors and accents. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, very pleased

We booked a 9 night stay at the Meet Hotel. When we got taken to our room by 2 staff in a buggy we heard loud music blaring next to the swimming pool it was a New Zealand man drunk and playing loud music he was in the next room to us! Then we were woken up at 2AM a few nights later by the same man playing extremely loud music I had to knock on his door to tell him to turn it off!! There is no security men checking the villas and not checking that guests are safe which is very poor and unsafe! the next morning Very Rude Russian guests arrived at 5AM and sat around the pool next to our room and were talking very loudly and drinking heavily!! AGAIN I had to go out the room and tell them to keep quiet we are trying to sleep! We should not be subjected to this very bad and rude behaviour on holiday! And when the same guests checked out at 5AM they are shouting and arguing very loudly again woke us up and banged on every rooms door being very nasty!!! Again NO SECURITY The room is about 1 mile from reception and set back from the road by 800 meters a 15 minute walk from the beach and the shops. THE ADVERT IS VERY MISLEADING IT LOOKS LIKE THE HOTEL IS DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH IT IS NOT! IT IS A 15 minute 800 meter walk!! Thanida the Manageress the reception staff cleaners are good and helpful. The breakfast is very basic the breakfast staff did not want to talk to guests and were unfriendly Had to move hotels 4 nights early! was not refunded by the owner in full that’s bad

we had a pool room off the patio however there was no ladder to enter or exit the pool....what's the point the lead photo of the property shows a fantastic looking beach with the caption direct access. there is no direct access because there is no beach. beach loungers umbrellas towels. There is no Beach. 100 yards away there are rock walls. 500 yards away there a sandy area where a couple dozen longboats shore up. We rented scooters to find a beaches 3-15 km away. the beaches we found were awesome lol
