Visited on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. We didn't do an open-run (arrive before opening), and it wasn't too crowded, so it was fine. It seems best to go straight to the innermost Donkey Kong ride first and work your way back toward the entrance. Excluding timed-entry tickets, the wait times were roughly 40 minutes to an hour. The Flying Dinosaur had a really long wait time; they said it would be 1 hour, but it felt like it took over an hour longer. The other rides were faster than expected. If you don't necessarily need to ride together, the Dinosaur ride offers a single-rider line, so you should aim for that. Donkey Kong was a bit too boring for my 4th-grade son who likes thrilling rides, but the Dinosaur ride was genuinely scary. Donkey Kong seems great for young kids in the lower elementary grades, while Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the Dinosaur ride are better for adults or kids who like scary rides. Even though we only had 4 timed-entry tickets, we managed to ride almost all the popular attractions because it was a weekday (Wednesday) with fewer crowds. The lines move quickly, so you don't really need a folding chair. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays probably don't require timed-entry tickets, but weekends and holidays definitely seem to need them. Also, Google Maps is better at finding directions than the Universal app, so using Google Maps to navigate to your destinations will get you there faster. The Universal app is very useful for checking show times and wait times, so make sure to download it. For those who bought tickets in Korea, please note that you must print out the timed-entry tickets (Q-Pass) on paper in order to use them. Have a great trip!

Kohei was great and the whole experience was awesome. I love my chopsticks and would highly recommend this to everyone.

Had an absolute ball. super friendly staff, safety was excellent with hand rail getting into boat and comfortable seating. Fun captain and music made it super enjoyable and some brief history in various languages. well thought out quick 20 minute tour but worth it for the experience and photos.

Price: Very good. Experience: The best, it gets you up and down very quickly. There were too many people there; with the Express Pass I was able to make it for the sunset, otherwise I wouldn't have stood a chance 😅

one of the highlights of our trip for both kids and the adults - we had 7 kids and 6 adults and they were awesome! Our kids ages 5-9 had the best time and will have something to remember for ever! Really cool to have custom chopsticks with their names laser engraved. highly recommend for anyone in Osaka!

We had an absolutely amazing day at the Osaka Ring Making Workshop! 💍✨ Yay was our personal guide, and she took an already wonderful experience and made it truly exceptional. Her warmth, patience, and personal attention made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Making our own rings was such a unique and memorable experience, and having Yay guide us through every step made it even more special. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time. Absolutely great experience! I chose the 1.5‑hour night tour, and I’d definitely recommend going for the later time if you’re visiting in summer. I actually ended up with a personal tour, which made the whole drive even better. Seeing Osaka Castle lit up at night, along with the tower, was a highlight. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early, since there’s a short safety video you need to watch before driving. You can also rent a GoPro (extra cost) if you want to capture your driving experience — totally worth it if you want to relive the ride later. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to drive like Mario in Mario Cart 😁 Will definitely be doing this again. 5⭐️ to the crew.

නගරයේ විදුලි පහන් දැකීමට මෙය කදිම ක්‍රමයක් විය! වැසි වැටුණු නිසා අපට වැහි කබා ඇඳීමට සිදු විය. ඊළඟ වතාවේ වැස්සෙන් බේරීමට වඩා නම්‍යශීලී ටිකට් පතක් මිලදී ගැනීමට මම සිතමි :) සංගීතය හොඳ වූ අතර මාර්ගෝපදේශකයින් ඉතා මිත්‍රශීලී විය.

This is well worth it. Beleive me it was a hot day and last thing is having to line up and wait in a massive Queue. This place gets packed. Great thing if u book/make a reservation you skip these lines. It was a great experience they even had spray machines for you on way up to cool yourself down. They also have souvenir shops inside the castle to buy memorabilia. Its quite a massive space to explore and you get a good glimpse of history and the area is just magnificent to be in. You can also pay for boat trip down the river & other excursions. Wonderful experience.
