Absolutely great experience! I chose the 1.5‑hour night tour, and I’d definitely recommend going for the later time if you’re visiting in summer. I actually ended up with a personal tour, which made the whole drive even better. Seeing Osaka Castle lit up at night, along with the tower, was a highlight. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early, since there’s a short safety video you need to watch before driving. You can also rent a GoPro (extra cost) if you want to capture your driving experience — totally worth it if you want to relive the ride later. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to drive like Mario in Mario Cart 😁 Will definitely be doing this again. 5⭐️ to the crew.

For those thinking of doing this, stop stalling, and purchase now, this is insane. Osaka was amazing by night, and it suited us, we chose the 90min 8pm session and it was unreal. Be sure to have your international driver's permit before travelling, for us, it was though the RACV in Victoria 🇦🇺. Have your passport (physically with you) aswell, without both, you will not be able to participate. The karts themselves are 50cc 2 bangers, and hook along at around 60-65kph, definitely not a toy. Normal road rules apply, you must use the indicators, stay within the lane, and stop at red lights as you would driving a registered vehicle. My son(21yo) and myself had an absolute blast, yep, dressed in costume, and we had 2 teams of 6 karts, which was fun. It was a pretty quiet journey out to Osaka Castle, before heading back through town where the street lights, onlookers and atmosphere really kicked in. 5 stars for the team at Akiba Kart, our Japan highlight for sure, must do 🙌🏻

Overall was great, fun and exciting! Had fun driving the kart around Osaka but was abit dangerous driving on the road with other vehicle. If u like the adrenaline rush then it is great experience on it.

THE BEST! You have to do this if you're in Japan. They have one in Tokyo too but it's more pricier. we had so much fun. they took great pic of you and your partner but I didn't share here. just some pic i manage to capture when we stopped. so so so sooo worth it.

Efficient service and it was fun choosing costumes. The distance to the location is quite a distance so allocate time to walk. For the timing we chose, we had the tour to just ourselves! It was really enjoyable driving through parts of the city that we haven’t explored and waved to many curious tourists and onlookers haha. 1 hour is just nice. Guide was very helpful and patient with us. Will recommend.

Riding go-karts through the streets of Osaka was such a fun and unforgettable experience! It felt amazing to drive around the city, passing famous landmarks while dressed in fun costumes. The staff were friendly, gave clear instructions, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. It was such a unique way to explore Osaka — definitely not your typical sightseeing tour.

this is one of my travel highlights during my stay in Japan. this experience is very satisfying! easy to book and the staffs are very accommodating. at first, you will be given instructions, choose and wear customes and let you test drove before you go. the staff took photis of us while we drive the street and it's so worth the try to drive around Osaka!

Driving through the vibrant streets of Osaka for two hours, exploring landmarks like Osaka Castle, Sakai-suji, Shinsaibashi, and Osaka-Namba Station, was an exhilarating experience. Marin guided us seamlessly, taking photos of us whenever we stopped at traffic lights, adding to the fun. I only wish we had front and rear cameras to capture the entire joyride. What a thrilling adventure!

Best experience I had in Japan and one of the highlights of my trip! Was originally booked for 1 Nov 2024 5pm but there was slight rain and was offered a chance to reschedule to the day after (3 Nov) at 2pm. Reached the place 15 mins before the scheduled time, got my IDP and passport validated by friendly staff, watched a safety video, chose and changed into my outfit, put my stuff in their free lockers and carried my phone, IDP and passport on me with their free black sling bags. Thereafter, staff gave another orientation of the karts’ operation before we set off. Our guide Nas was great, ensured the group stayed together and even helped take pictures of us in between! Had tons of fun touring the city in the karts! Thanks Klook as well for the 40% off promo which made this an absolute no brainer activity to pick up!

This was the best experience ever! We loved it! I thought it would be a pre-determined route, but it was literally karting on the streets of Osaka. We got to see some iconic & beautiful sites of Osaka. I reccommend doing the 6pm run, it starts off light, but once night sets in, the lights of Osaka are brilliant. The staff were amaing, easy directions & safety a priority the whole time. It was too hot to do costumes, but this attraction is a must do!
