Had a wonderful experience on the Takachiho Gorge tour! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, especially Takachiho Gorge and Mount Aso. Our tour guide, Nicole was amazing and knowledgeable. The tour was well-organised, and we really enjoyed exploring the different locations. Definitely a memorable experience and highly recommended!

A wonderful day trip! Mount Aso is overwhelmingly beautiful—truly fitting as Misae Nohara's hometown. Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine is extremely photogenic. Having visited many hot spring towns, Kurokawa Onsen also has its own unique charm. By the river, there are 200-yen self-service open-air baths for men and women, where you can enjoy river views and the gentle sound of flowing water. Special shout-out to our tour guide, Mr. Sun Peng, who was incredibly entertaining and kept us laughing the whole way. Also, kudos to every member of the group for being well-mannered and punctual—we were the first to depart and the first to arrive at every attraction, making for a truly fantastic experience. Finally, wishing Mr. Sun good luck in guiding Stefanie Sun someday, hahaha! Ramble: The Adult Pudding in South Aso is seriously amazing! Now I finally know why it's called Adult Pudding—it's made with rum, giving it a very unique and wonderfully surprising texture.

Very well planned tour, we didn’t feel rush and were lucky enough to see all the sights under great weather. Our tour guide was Kevin and we couldn’t ask for a better one, he has great humor, explanation and very responsible to ensure everyone is taken care of. It’s one of the best day tour you can get if you have a free day in Fukuoka area to experience the nature! (But definitely check the weather first!)

Having never been to Kumamoto before, this day tour gave me a deep understanding of the city. The tour guide even shared stories on the bus about Kumamoto Castle, Kumamoto Prefecture's mascot, and its precious, unique water sources! The commentary on the bus was far from boring; in fact, it was quite touching. Our tour guide, Sun Peng, even gave us friendly tips on what not to buy to avoid traps. He mentioned that since souvenirs on the mountain are not tax-free, we should only buy items unique to the mountain and save other purchases for the tax-free shops at the bottom!! It was so conscientious. You could really feel their dedication to promoting Kumamoto's tourism rather than just trying to make money off tourists. If you have a choice, I strongly request tour guide Sun Peng! I also highly recommend looking into my itinerary: fly into Kumamoto, spend the first day exploring, shopping, and eating around the Shimotori shopping arcade, and stay at a hotel near Kumamoto Station since the day tour meets very early right inside the station. On the second day, you can just walk to the station to join the tour. When the day tour ends, you can dine right at the station. Plus, the adjacent department store has both Uniqlo and GU, allowing you to shop to your heart's content without waiting in long lines (Fukuoka can get crazy, but Kumamoto is so smooth and quick at checkout!). After shopping, you can head upstairs in the department store to try the Katsuretsu-tei tonkatsu and fried shrimp recommended by our guide. I truly recommend it! Kumamoto Prefecture's mascot should give Sun Peng a raise—he is amazing! This itinerary made me fall in love with Kumamoto 😍

Am făcut turul pentru a vizita defileul Takachiho și Aso Kusasenri și m-am simțit minunat. Turul a fost incredibil de bine organizat. Ghidul nostru, Sun, a fost bine informat și profesionist; ne-a oferit un context extraordinar despre zonă și ne-a ghidat exemplar pe parcursul întregii zile. Defileul a fost superb, iar plimbarea cu barca a fost extrem de distractivă. De asemenea, am adăugat pachetul de prânz în ultimul moment și Mă bucur foarte mult că am făcut-o, deoarece mâncarea a fost delicioasă. one of the best tours I have ever been to! the tour goes to all of the must see spots in Miyazaki! the Gorge was absolutely beautiful! i also really loved the Aso Grass land. it was very foggy which created a ghibli vibe right out of the Howls Moving Castle movie. our guide was absolutely amazing! she pointed us to all of the best spots and photo opportunities. the tour ended with the opportunity to try horse meat at an absolutely delicious shop- and local secret.

A fost prima noastră vizită în Kumamoto și am fost foarte norocoși să-l întâlnim pe ghidul Yin De Long! Ghidul a fost cu adevărat foarte atent și responsabil, explicându-ne cu răbdare totul, de la prezentarea atracțiilor turistice și modalitățile de transport, până la cele mai mici detalii. Îmi amintesc în mod deosebit că ghidul ne-a desenat personal hărți pentru a ne arăta mai clar cum să ajungem la destinație, ceea ce a fost cu adevărat un gest foarte grijuliu 🥹. De asemenea, șoferul a condus excelent 👍. Deși în timpul călătoriei noastre am avut parte de ploaie, renovări la obiective turistice și ceață la Kusasenri, ghidul Yin De Long ne-a ajutat cu răbdare și a gestionat problemele neprevăzute. Vă mulțumim și pentru că ne-ați spus că vă putem contacta oricând pentru orice întrebări legate de Kyushu pe viitor. Sperăm să avem ocazia să participăm din nou la tururile dumneavoastră data viitoare când vom vizita Kyushu!

We spotted tour guide Nana's flag first thing in the morning. She was sweet and extremely dedicated, and she didn't waste any time talking when it was time for us to rest and catch up on sleep! Her Mandarin and English were both fluent, so there were zero communication barriers. Since I easily get motion sick, I had added a note requesting a front-seat before joining the tour, and they saved a seat for me. The scenery along the entire way was truly gorgeous, and everywhere we went had a wonderful, comfortable energy. Because we joined the Takachiho Gorge boating activity, our schedule required precise timing. As soon as we arrived at Takachiho Gorge, Nana gave instructions on the meeting time and place for those not boating, and then rushed forward with the nine of us who were participating in the boating activity! It turns out that boating time is limited, and failing to return within the designated time results in extra fees charged by the boat rental shop! The boats are not the easiest to steer, but it is a lot of fun. I highly recommend trying it out if you aren't traveling with very young children or elderly family members—since you're already there, you might as well! I highly recommend this tour and am very grateful to our guide, Nana, for giving us such a wonderful day! By the way, the mango shaved ice has very poor value for the money, so skip it! The soft-serve ice cream should be worth a try, though!

A perfect nature tour of Kyushu, thanks to our guide, Nanami! I just finished my trip to Kumamoto and Miyazaki and couldn't wait to write this glowing review. The itinerary for this tour group was exceptionally well-designed, perfectly blending natural wonders with cultural experiences. In Aso, we witnessed one of the world's largest active volcanoes, an unforgettable experience of the Earth's pulse. We strolled across the vast grasslands of Kusasenri, feeling a unique sense of openness and tranquility. The boat ride through Takachiho Gorge was the highlight of the entire trip, making us feel as if we had stepped into a mythical world. The 'soul' of all these wonderful experiences was undoubtedly our guide, Nanami. She is incredibly professional and passionate: 1. Knowledgeable: She knows Kyushu's history, culture, geological formations, and local specialties like the back of her hand. Her explanations were vivid and engaging, allowing us not just to see the scenery but to understand the stories behind it. 2. Bilingual Communication: Our group had many international friends, and she served everyone throughout the trip with fluent Chinese and English, ensuring seamless communication and taking care of every member. It was very thoughtful. 3. Warm and Attentive: She always had a radiant smile, carefully looked after the elderly and children in the group, and helped everyone solve various problems, just like a reliable older sister. Thanks to Nanami, this journey was filled with warmth and cherished memories. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Kyushu! I hope to meet her again on my next trip.
