Excursii Tamborine National Park

este o experiență nouă și remarcabilă!!! nu ne așteptam ca „hop on hop off” să însemne că putem alege unde vrem să mergem și să coborâm și să urcăm liber și ușor, permițându-ne să explorăm întreaga zonă a pădurii naționale Tamborine… sunt atât de mulțumit!!!

Gary este un ghid foarte bine informat, știe totul despre habitatul forestier. Ne-a ghidat să găsim o familie de canguri sălbatici, ne-a condus să localizăm 3 koala în același copac. Ne-a arătat păsări de diverse specii. De asemenea, ne-am bucurat de un ceai perfect de dimineață cu prieteni noi și drăguți într-o zi însorită. Am mers prin parcul național și am văzut cascada fără nicio dificultate.

Tania was a wonderful guide. She made an effort to get to know each member of our group. Her commentary was very thorough—besides introducing us to the glowworms, she also shared a lot about the forest ecosystem. Along the way, we even spotted some small animals and enjoyed a beautiful starry sky.

This full-day tour has a packed itinerary, but it’s so well-paced that we never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed every stop. Our driver/tour guide must moonlight as a radio host because he kept us entertained with fascinating trivia the entire ride—even if you doze off, you’ll still wake up smarter! He also has supersonic ears and laser eyes for spotting wildlife, ensuring we saw everything we came for. Highly recommend!

We took this tour with our 8-year-old child, and we were deeply impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of our guide and driver, Michael. From the pre-trip email confirming the hotel and pickup time to his punctual arrival, the service was impeccable. Along the way, Michael kindly provided explanations and took us to the Glow Worm conservation center. Unlike fireflies in Taiwan, these glow worms are tiny, and entering the cave felt like being immersed in a vast starry sky—it was both magnificent and beautiful. Afterward, we went to Eagle Heights for a panoramic view of the Gold Coast, then headed to a stargazing spot to witness a stunning sunset. What touched us most was Michael's thoughtfulness. He prepared mats for us to lie on while we rested and ate. The dinner was simple yet incredibly delicious. Our child loved the Australian sausages so much that he ate four! I also really enjoyed the sparkling white wine, and when Michael noticed, he enthusiastically took a photo of the bottle for me, making it easier for me to find it again when I return to Taiwan. The starry sky that night was unbelievably beautiful. Through a powerful telescope, as grand as a utility pole, we clearly saw Jupiter and numerous star clusters, and we were even able to take photos with our phones. Michael's explanation of the constellations was easy to understand, and our child learned a lot. This was a peaceful and surprising nature trip, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone who loves nature and stargazing.
