It was our 12th day in Japan, and all the previous days had been exhausting. I had wanted to do this tour on my own, but the kids weren't keeping up as well anymore. I decided to book this tour a day in advance, and it was the best decision. We visited several places without getting too tired or worn out, and the kids happily continued. We wouldn't have been able to see so much on our own. Our guide and driver were very kind!

This was a lovely half day trip to Nara. Our guide was very kind and knowledgable. He constantly checked in on us during the tour. Both the shinto and buddhist temples were beautiful. The giant buddha was a personal highlight. Beware of the deers. Yes, they are cute and polite. but they will hound you if you're holding deer snacks. So, emotionally prepare yourself. Our tour guide also shared a lot of the historical and cultural of Nara and Kyoto, which was very lovely. I highly recommend the tour if you want to see Nara.

Cu o zi înainte de călătorie, veți primi un e-mail cu informații despre locul de întâlnire. Dimineața, ne-am întâlnit la ieșirea 2 din Nihonbashi, unde ghidul Momo ne aștepta cu o pancartă. Înainte de a ajunge la fiecare atracție, ghidul a oferit explicații în mai multe limbi. La Amanohashidate (telecabină), ne-am plimbat pe lângă bancul de nisip, iar apa era foarte limpede, liniștită și frumoasă. Ine no Funaya (plimbare cu barca pentru a hrăni pescărușii și vulturii) este o experiență specială, potrivită atât pentru adulți, cât și pentru copii, dar, din păcate, casele plutitoare pot fi admirate doar de la distanță, de pe barcă. Satul Miyama cu casele sale tradiționale (Gassho-zukuri) este un loc liniștit, unde nu sunt multe de făcut în afară de a admira peisajul local. Deși drumul a fost destul de lung, iar programul a fost puțin strâns, am avut ocazia să ne odihnim pe parcurs. A fost o decizie înțeleaptă să includem o excursie de o zi cu autocarul în timpul șederii noastre libere în Osaka!

I recently went on this tour with Amigo Tours and had an excellent experience overall. Our guide, Angeles, was fantastic — extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain everything clearly in both Spanish and English. Our first stop was Miyajima, famous for its oysters and iconic torii gate. I enjoyed exploring the quieter hiking trails, waterfalls, and ancient stone relics before heading back to the shopping area for local pastries and beer. I wanted to try the ropeway tram, but the wait was too long for our schedule. Next was Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Peace Park. Unfortunately, heavy traffic reduced our time there, so I had to move through the museum quickly. Even so, it was an incredibly moving and worthwhile experience. Overall, I highly recommend this tour, especially with Angeles as your guide!

I really enjoyed this tour and workshop, especially because Yoshie was such a lovely guide! She was sweet, cheerful and approachable, making everything feel relaxed and fun. On the walk to the museum, she pointed out the mascot manhole covers, and throughout the museum she gave interesting explanations and kept great conversation. She was also fantastic during the Cup Noodle workshop, encouraging us to take our time and taking loads of photos for us. The tour lasted ≈1hr 40 and was definitely informative and enjoyable. My only criticism would be the price. I paid €137.25 for a small-group tour for two people, which felt a little expensive for what was included. The restaurant part was more like being dropped off near the station. I think having a little more guided time at the end would validate the price (2.5hr instead of 2hr) That said, I loved having someone else take care of the navigating ahah! Yoshie even helped us check restaurant availability and order before leaving.

We had such a great day on this tour with Apple. Apple was great at giving information about each place before we arrived. We were provided with must see and visit recommendations to help us whilst exploring Arashiama on our own. All of the stops are beautiful. The tour itself was very efficient with just enough time in each place to see all the highlights. Would definitely recommend!

The tour was good overall, it saves you time because you get to see a lot in one day and not get tired by using public transport. The first temple is beautiful. Places are crowded, when you get to Nara in the afternoon there is no deer food left to buy… Could be nice to have some on the bus to sell.
