Hong Kong High-Speed Rail Tickets

About High-Speed Rail

Hong Kong High-Speed Rail (Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link) connects Hong Kong West Kowloon Station with the country's vast high-speed rail network, spanning approximately 26 kilometers and reaching speeds of up to 200 km/h. Once entering the mainland section, speeds can soar to as much as 350 km/h. Whether for business trips or leisure travel, Hong Kong High-Speed Rail is the fastest, most comfortable, and convenient transportation option for traveling between Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and other destinations.

The high-speed train departs from West Kowloon Station and takes only about 14 minutes to reach Shenzhen and around 48 minutes to arrive at Guangzhou, giving you more time to immerse yourself in local sightseeing and activities. Additionally, West Kowloon Station implements "co-location," allowing travelers to complete both Hong Kong's and Mainland China's immigration procedures within the same station significantly reducing crossing times.

The design of the high-speed train carriages balances comfort with practicality by offering economical Second Class seats along with more spaciously comfortable First Class seats. The trains are equipped with adjustable seat backs and charging sockets among other amenities ensuring that even while speeding through your journey you can enjoy a relaxed experience.

Convenient. Foreigners should use the manned gate and enter with their passports. Entry is allowed only about 12–15 minutes before departure, and the gate closes roughly 5 minutes prior. Seats can be separated by an aisle.

Booking is easy, but there's a limitation: if you don't book far in advance, your ticket might be rejected even if it shows as available when you make the booking. Even after payment, there's a chance of cancellation and immediate refund because the ticket may not actually be available. I understand that Klook's system is a third-party system, which causes this limitation when booking train tickets, but overall, if you book well in advance, I think there won't be any problems.

My second time riding a high speed train but this time in Beijing and I can say that it's worth every peso especially this train going to the great wall, so convenient and cheap compare to riding a bus or getting a group tour. Hope to be back in China to explore more cities and more high speed train to take.

Very convenient & reliable high speed train ticket booking experience. No hiccups on the ground and all i had to do was to present my passport for scanning (as is the case across many other tourist sites in Xi An). There is no difference in pricing vs booking via Trip.com.

Shanghaihongqiao - Beijingnan ·
Had a great smooth ride. on time with schedule too. I took the fast track ride, not knowing it has 2 pit stops before I reach Beijing. the seat is a Vit comfortable, a bit wide leg room but I notice the bathroom being clean by the attendant time to time, all bathroom for all sex no distinct bathroom for female & male which is not hygienic… the luggage area does not have enough space to store all luggages too.
