Manyueyuan is flat and easy to walk, but it gets very crowded on holidays. The latter part of the trail near the waterfall has stairs, which can be a bit strenuous. We recommend starting your hike early, visiting the waterfall area first, and then taking the self-guided trail down the mountain for an easier descent!

Foi a primeira vez que viemos ao Hotel Onsen Dashegen. Primeiro, fizemos a trilha de três anéis, vimos a árvore sagrada de Bangan, que é um tesouro nacional, e depois de uma refeição simples, fomos para a sala de banho termal para casais. Our trip to Dongyanshan was a great experience. We bought e-tickets before heading out, and at the entrance, we just scanned the QR code for instant entry, which was convenient and saved time! As soon as we entered the park, we were surrounded by towering Japanese cedar forests. The air was incredibly fresh and full of phytoncides, making deep breaths feel wonderfully refreshing. Surprisingly, there were very few mosquitoes and other insects, making it a comfortable walk. However, we occasionally encountered bees patrolling nearby, but calmly avoiding them was sufficient. A key point to note is that the trails and wooden steps can become very slippery when it rains. We strongly recommend wearing non-slip shoes and bringing a hiking pole to ensure safety by walking slowly and carefully. Overall, it's highly recommended as a great place to get close to nature in northern Taiwan!
