Everything was well organized and on time. We visited Dianchi Lake first, then had lunch, and ended the day at the Stone Forest.
I joined this tour with my elderly mother, who uses a cane and had always wanted to visit the Stone Forest. We only had one full day in Kunming, so this tour was perfect for us.
Our guide Luosang was kind, patient, and waited for us while my mom walked slowly, especially in the rain. Even though we don't speak Chinese, everything went smoothly.
Thank you for helping fulfill my mom's wish. We had a wonderful and memorable day!

Our guide Ahyan was 11/10 as she shared with us everything we needed to know about Yunnan from tea, silver, nature, food, way of life, economy, property, marriage, history and ethnic groups within a short span of time. She is funny but firm in managing the time and group. Offered to take photos at major spots. Even though it rained heavily in the afternoon at Jiuxiang scenic area, she problem solved and ensured that everyone had a good time and was safe. Exceeded expectations and had a memorable day.

recommend this tour. tour guide was passionate and shared about the tour/jiuxiang/shilin and also gave some information and recommendations for yunnan. quite some walking and climbing of stairs involved for both jiuxiang and shilin. jiuxiang was self-guided for the second half, while for shilin the tour guide was with us for the whole journey and gave explanations on the way. lunch provided was a simple chinese meal, many dishes but on the bland side. edible and good to try.

This is the best way to see several attractions in one day, especially if you have limited time. I only wished there was more time on the western hills scenic area to explore a bit more - like another hr or two hours would have been great. the tour finished at 4pm. if you were self-exploring, you could definitely visit western hills scenic area all day, a full day, as it is huge! the yunnan nationalities village is also very big. we all paid extra to ride the little train which definitely helped saved time and our legs from a lot of walking. we saw a few short musical and comedy cultural type performances - if you want to see it all, you need a full day! anyways, the guide was realy lovely but commentary is all in Chinese... it was a small group of older, eldery people and they were nice. we had a family lunch banquet meal which consisted of local dishes - like a home cooked meal! I recommend to book mainly for logistics and time...

I solo-traveled across Yunnan—Kunming, Dali, Lijiang & Shangri-La—and as someone with limited Mandarin knowledge and zero bandwidth to plan an itinerary, booking this trip through Klook was the absolute best decision!
They took care of everything from end to end: seamless, on-time pick-ups & drop-offs, train, admissions & hotel booking . I appreciated the dedicated WeChat group coordination, where YiAn provided helpful updates on the weather & timely reminders for big activities like heading up to Shangri-La or visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Stripping away all the logistical stress lifted a massive mental load, allowing me to truly rest, recharge, & enjoy what was a much-needed break.
I want to offer a very special commendation to Master Yang, who was my driver for the leg of the trip from Dali to Shangri-La. He went far and beyond his duties as a driver, seamlessly stepping in as an incredible local guide who introduced me to experiences I never would have discovered on my own.

We were extremely satisfied with this trip. The travel agency was very responsible and responded quickly; they also arranged special requests very promptly. All the luxury hotels we stayed in were very clean, and the soft furnishings were beautiful and antique. We were also particularly pleased with our driver, Master Li*Bao (Yun P93466). As a local, he has a deep understanding of Yunnan and was able to introduce us to various unique aspects of Yunnan and its ethnic minorities at any time. He was very friendly and enthusiastic. The commercial vehicle he drove was also very comfortable, and his driving skills were excellent; even though we had long journeys, we never felt uncomfortable. The daily schedule for attractions and outings was very reasonable. Overall, I would recommend the luxury private tour.

The 8-day Dali trip was a great experience.The itinerary was well-planned and smooth,and the scenery at Erhai lake was truly stunning.
