The hotel looked very nice from outside as well as the lobbie. The rooms were a good size. Not enough closet space but doable. Having said that, I would NEVER go back to Hotel Da Vinci. First, even though it’s only about 15 minutes from the metro, you need to walk through a neighborhood that I did not feel very comfortable walking at night. When we arrived, I told the receptionist I wanted a very quiet room. Next thing I know, they put me next to a room with two men and a huge dog who started barking at midnight. Everyone started yelling at them. We requested another room at a different floor and they did switch us. By the way, the first room, the tv remote was broken and the batteries corroded. There was only one place to hang towels and it was also broken. The next room was more quiet, however, the shower head that is on the ceiling was not working, so in order for me to wash my hair, I had to do it with one hand and the other use the removable shower head. The place to hang towels, also broken. The bed felt like it was a box spring instead of a mattress. It was very bumpy and uncomfortable. They consider themselves a 4/5 star hotel. There’s no way!!! I would never go back. Very disappointed.

The outside looked sketchy. But, once inside it's okay. Great for families and close to public transportation.

Property was in a somewhat remote location that was surrounded by dirt filled fields and burned out buildings. To get to downtown Milan, you have to walk 10-12 min to a subway. Subways run well, however. Room large and airy, but you get nothing - no coffee/tea, no tissues. You have to pay for water. (Other hotels offered complimentary bottles). They did not even put out an extra roll of toilet paper. Staff was nice, breakfast was lovely but expensive. Parking lot a plus (15 euros/day) but parking lot is full of holes. Pillows are hard and there are no extras. There is nice ironing room downstairs and there seem to be good conference facilities. We didn’t check if there was an exercise room.

massive and beautiful room, bed was an incredible size, great view and blackout curtains 100% work. Tv was small and off centre to the bed but wasn’t using it anyway so wasn’t a problem, shower was unbelievable best thing ever. only downside was not being able to use the mini fridge for personal drinks as it was so hot all i wanted to do was put my own drinks in there. the AC was great too always coming back to a cold room was great. train station was right beside it literally a minute walk which made the day run so smoothly, metro was only about 12 minutes away too which was also so helpful. 100% recommend and 100% will be back !!!

The room is basic. Furnished like a B&B. It is definitely not 4 star it claimes to be. 2.5 star
