The meeting point was clear and the itinerary was well-planned. However, the departure was delayed, and the tour guide didn't show up at the designated time. The tour company also didn't proactively inform us, causing travelers to repeatedly go into the office to inquire. Eventually, another guide had to go find our actual guide, which was a very frustrating process. Aside from that, the itinerary itself ran very smoothly.

Visiting the Royal Alcázar of Seville is an unforgettable excursion filled with history and beauty. As you enter, you are surrounded by intricate Moorish architecture, delicate arches, and colorful tilework that reflect centuries of culture. The peaceful courtyards, like the famous Patio de las Doncellas, offer a calm escape from the city’s noise. Walking through the royal chambers, you can imagine the lives of kings and queens who once lived there. The lush gardens, filled with fountains, orange trees, and peacocks, make the experience even more magical. It is a perfect place to explore, learn, and admire timeless art and design.

Seville is a very lovely city. Full of history and culture. We can see the trio of Arabic-Jewish-Christian culture rolled into one. Our guide Sama-el was very knowledgeable about the sites. I loved the Alcazar so much. It's worth joining the group. It's just the very hot weather (reaching 43C) that makes the walking tour a little bit hard. Otherwise, I gave this tour a two-thumbs up, especially to Sama-el, our guide. Highly recommended.

Stepping inside the church, one is instantly transported from the scorching Andalusian sun outside into a tranquil and solemn sanctuary. Looking up, the towering Gothic arches stretch and intertwine like colossal trees carved from stone. Sunlight streams through the stained-glass windows, casting vibrant halos onto the mottled stone floor. At the deepest part of the nave is the breathtaking main altarpiece (Retablo Mayor). Countless gilded statues densely narrate biblical stories, shimmering in the faint candlelight, exuding a quiet yet awe-inspiring power. However, the most striking feature within the church is undoubtedly the Tomb of Columbus. Statues of the four Spanish kings—Castile, Leon, Aragon, and Navarre—bear the navigator's coffin aloft. Standing before the tomb, the tempestuous waves of the Age of Exploration stand in stark contrast to this serene hall, prompting reflection on the ebb and flow of time and the vicissitudes of history.

The Seville itinerary for this day was almost perfect. The Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar were indescribably beautiful, and the architecture of the old town was magnificent, with its planning and layout being textbook-perfect. Although the tickets for the Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar were not cheap, they were well worth it! The Royal Alcázar had a strong Indian feel, completely different from the mainstream European palace architectural style.

This is a great show, only ensure that you reach 60 mins before to get good seats and the ability to see the performers legs properly. Highly recommended to anyone looking to learn about the dance’s history and enjoy the performance as well.

The show lasted around an hour with a good showcase of the footsteps of Flamenco. The only problem is that for tickets booked via KLook, we will be assigned to the last few rows of the theatre so you may not be able to get a closer look. But booking via KLook is a good option for budget choices!

El Alcázar era grande, asegúrate de llevar tu pasaporte/identificación y agua durante la temporada de verano, ya que hace mucho calor.
