This was my first experience with a massage in Korea, and it was truly amazing! I booked the foot massage. A lovely lady greeted me – she spoke very good English – and showed me what to do. A quick change into some shorts, then a hot foot bath and some tea before the treatment started. The most fabulous hard pressure, but it felt gentle and wonderful! I didn’t want the appointment to end, but I’ll definitely be back before I leave Korea. I can’t recommend this enough – treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So einfach zu buchen und tolle Kommunikation. Ich habe die spezielle Behandlung für den Tag nach meinem langen Flug nach Korea gebucht und es war die beste Entscheidung. Ich fühlte mich so entspannt und gut aufgehoben, und ich bin überzeugt, dass es mir beim Jetlag geholfen hat! Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

I feel so utterly spoiled after my Joseon Emperor Mud Therapy experience in Hongdae! The whole thing was like a personal, luxury Jjimjilbang. It kicked off with a pre-warmed ginseng bath and a snack of mandarin oranges and Asian pear—heaven! The full-body scrub was thorough but far gentler than the usual spa ajjummas, and the massage was amazing, paying special care to my tight neck and shoulders. The cooling mud facial was so satisfying, but the real star was the scalp scrub. It’s been three days, and my scalp STILL feels unbelievably fresh! I also loved the private room to blow-dry my hair, complete with argan oil. The whole wonderful experience ended with soft, chewy yakgwa and fruity tea. It was just the perfect, spoiling treat I needed to start this long Korean winter. An absolute must-do for anyone needing some serious TLC!

Dongdaemun's SPALEX is the best! It's cheap, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is also incredibly easy to find. Dongdaemun Design Plaza is right across the street. You can find it immediately by taking the elevator down to the 3rd basement floor of the building. It's a good idea to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and scrubbing towel, as they are not provided. If you forget, it's convenient that they are sold at the entrance. For women, mugwort steaming is highly recommended! It costs 2000 yen. It feels incredibly good and makes you sweat a lot. After that, a body scrub is the best! On the 4th basement floor, there's also a food court, a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), and a resting area where you can relax. Going in the morning is recommended as it's less crowded.

Après plus de 12 ans de visites à Séoul, c'est mon premier 'soin de beauté' (quelle bonne épouse, lol). J'attendais avec impatience ce traitement capillaire aux cellules souches en 18 étapes, si célèbre en Corée. Il y a de nombreux salons parmi lesquels choisir et j'ai opté pour le salon @ecojardin.jamsil, qui se trouvait être à proximité de notre hôtel, accessible à pied. J'ai fait ma réservation directement avec eux sur Instagram et j'ai acheté un bon avec @klookmy. Ce salon est situé dans la Lotte World Tower, un salon très moderne et branché, et dispose d'une salle zen privée pour les traitements capillaires. J'ai été choyée dès l'instant où je suis entrée jusqu'à ma sortie. J'ai été prise en charge par la coiffeuse Banya (@ecojardin_banya) et Haerin pour mon traitement, elles sont très attentives et amicales. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème à converser en anglais. Le traitement en 18 étapes était tout simplement thérapeutique, il a duré environ 105 minutes. Le processus était si relaxant que j'aurais souhaité qu'il dure plus longtemps. Mon cuir chevelu est si propre et rafraîchi ! Mes cheveux ont été magnifiquement séchés et coiffés par Banya également. Dans l'ensemble, 10 sur 10 pour le traitement et le service ! 🫶🏻

No es muy accesible, ya que hay que subir una pequeña cuesta después de bajarse en la parada de autobús más cercana, pero las vistas son estupendas. Lo único es que la limpiadora despertará a todo el mundo a las 8 de la mañana para arreglar las habitaciones, ojalá pudiera dormir un poco más.
