I came to China alone for a trip and joined this small group. I believe it will be easier to make friends from all over the world with everyone. Our tour guide was Xie Yu, and he was very nice and accommodating towards us as we were the only non-PRC individuals in the tour group. The first night in Changsha was free roam and an overnight stay. The tour guide met up with us on the second day. The Zhangjiajie route we took was the Grand Canyon, so it included the glass bridge, VR experience, zipline/elevator, slide, and boat ride. Just for your information, there are two boat rides and you need to walk about 3km+. There's the Charming Xiangxi show; if you enjoy Chinese opera and theatrics, you should go. Tianmen Mountain was mostly escalators and a cable car ride back to the entrance. Furong Town and Fenghuang offer more ancient city vibes, and they provided complimentary Miao outfits. We paid an additional $80 per person for the activities, $30 for a room upgrade, and $40 for makeup and a photoshoot (SGD). It's a great tour, and I would recommend it; the hotels are decent, and the food is good. They walk very quickly, so if you tend to slow down and take photos, you'll be left behind. This was often the case for us as we were vlogging.

Our guide, Wang, was incredibly welcoming, making me feel at home in this unfamiliar city. Everything was perfectly arranged, and I didn't have to worry about a thing throughout the entire trip. Tour guide Tan Zhanghui (Xiao Tan) from Zhouyou Tianxia is very professional and friendly. With his help, we were able to save time queuing during the crowded Chinese New Year period and fully enjoy the magnificent and beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain. Everything was well worth it! Xiao Tan is a local, born and raised there. In addition to introducing the scenic spots, he effortlessly shares the local history, which we found absolutely fascinating!
