Brendan was really great! I saw his tour yesterday, and I’m at the Edo-Tokyo Museum today and so much makes more sense after having done his tour of the Imperial Palace. The explanations in the museum are a bit dry and dense with facts, and I don’t have a lot of connection to annecdotes which help me remember what happened and why. Brendan’s tour really helped fill in some of that for me, and provided me a much better context. I’d recommend to anyone — do his tour first, before the museum, for greater understanding!

We had a great experience with our tour! This guy Naoto is a cool and fun tour guide you can get. If you are a food lover, you’ll like this tour because they will give recommendations on where to eat and a brief history behind every location. They also take good pictures for you. This is highly recommended if you are coming to Shinjuku.

We had a great experience with Jack. He knows the area well (he lives within walking distance) and showed our group all the best places to try and see. He speaks loudly and clearly, which is important in a busy market. It would have been overwhelming without him, and this tour enhanced my experience visiting this market.
