Very easy to use, just scan your code and they'll give you a receipt with a QR to use on the gates. No problems using it at Maokong Gondola and Taipei Zoo. I was also able to use the zoo train one-way.

Booking our tickets online right before entering Taipei Zoo turned out to be a great move, as paying in PHP was noticeably cheaper than purchasing directly in NTD at the gate. The zoo grounds are massive, beautifully maintained, and offer incredible value, but timing is everything when visiting. Arriving at 1:00 PM already put us on a tight schedule, and an unexpected two-hour rainstorm completely stalled our plans. Because of the weather delay and the sheer size of the park, we weren't able to explore the entire zoo, but we definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to Taipei. For anyone planning a visit, I strongly recommend buying your tickets online in advance for the best rate, arriving right when the park opens, and packing umbrellas so a sudden downpour won't cut your day short.

The Fun Pass is truly useful and great. However, if you try to enjoy all these benefits within a short schedule, the trip might become too exhausting, so I recommend comparing the monetary value of the benefits you get here before purchasing. For experiences like Yehliu Geopark, Jinguashi, and Shifen Sky Lanterns, it seems you could enjoy them more effectively if you separately purchase the FunTrip Yehliu, Shifen, Jinguashi, Jiufen (YESGJ) bus tour and use them together. Also, for reference, I recommend adding the Funlab bag-making experience to your schedule because it is more fun than expected and provides a short break in a cool place. The wood glue they hand out there takes a long time to set after gluing the materials together, so rather than rushing to sew... it is better to glue them, put them in a plastic bag, carry them carefully, and check them the next day or so when they will be completely dry~! Using glue will save you a lot more time.

I had the best time one my tour with Kia! our tour was small only 4 people and it was so great because we got to bond with Kia as well as the other 2 people ok the tour. The pace was just right and Kia always made sure we were take care of. definitely a highlight of my Taiwan trip!

It's better to buy tickets on-site; there's no need to queue. There's a dedicated electronic ticket exchange counter. Taking the kids to the Water Garden felt like having a fast pass, which was great! During the summer, there's also a limited-time inflatable waterslide, about two stories high. My kids were too young to try it, but watching other children slide down and bounce off the air cushion before splashing into the water looked very exciting! The waterslides at the Water Garden are all for children, so adults should definitely not slide down with them; the lifeguards will blow their whistles at you. Also, many adults went into the water wearing clothes that weren't swimwear, which was quite confusing. The later it gets, the more crowded it becomes, so if you want to enjoy clean water, it's best to enter early.

Very easy to book and use. Need to get a physical ticket at the ticket counter on the 1st floor. I went on a weekday to 89th and 101th floor. Unfortunately the weather became cloudy and rainy around the evening time so the view was not that great, however managed get few photos whenever the clouds dispersed. The tuned mass damper on 88th floor was interesting. In my opinion going to 101th floor is not worth it. It is quite small and made like a fern garden. Also the windows are of half length. 89th floor will have much better views with full length glass walls.

the tour is very informative and entertaining! our tour guide is a cheerful lady who is also passionate and talkative. She gave an delightful presentation about the history of the brewery, along with Taiwan’s industrial history. The tour ends with a unforgettable experience of extracting beers as much as we want directly from the tanks, which tasted so fresh that nothing in the market can compare with. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who loves beer and happy drinks! Hoo-Tah-Lah!

This was a last-minute addition to my Taipei itinerary, and I'm so glad I visited! The Miniatures Museum is fascinating, with incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail in every display. What impressed me most was how much there is to discover if you slow down and really observe. Every scene has tiny details, hidden elements, and creative touches that can easily be missed if you're rushing through. My recommendation: set aside at least 1–2 hours for your visit. Take your time, walk through each exhibit carefully, and appreciate the artistry behind the miniature worlds. If you're in a hurry, you'll likely miss much of the fun and magic that make this museum special. A unique and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Definitely worth adding to your Taipei itinerary!
