Overall, it was a great tour and definitely recommended. Our guide was friendly, attentive, and made a real effort, and the drive felt very safe and smooth. Since it's a one-day tour, time in Alishan is limited—you'll see the main highlights (train station, short train ride, and an easy walking route), but no longer hikes. If you only have one day, this is a great and convenient way to experience Alishan.

This was a very well-organized trip. I wasn’t expecting much and this exceeded my expectations. From the confirmation whatsapp messages to answering my questions, the tour operator was quick to reply and understood what I was asking (in English). The day before, you are put into a large whatsapp group and everyone going on the tour is blasted messages to let them know which transfer vehicles they will be boarding. Different drivers and guides appear along the way. An information package with vouchers, maps, and the itinerary are given out the moment you meet your first driver. Large luggage are driven up to the hotel, the train ride up Alishan was fun and beautiful in an old swaying train, and upon arrival there is someone waiting to pick you up. Timings of when to be back are verbally given out, use a translator app if you cannot understand. Watch your timings. There are a lot of people waiting for the sunrise train, you get an option to switch to a bus to go to another location too.

We had an amazing experience on our Alishan tour with Belatour! Our driver was excellent—professional, skilled, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. The places we visited looked like they came straight out of a painting. The scenery was truly mesmerizing and absolutely breathtaking. Alishan is incredibly beautiful, and every stop left us in awe. Our tour guide was very informative and accommodating. He even offered to take photos of our group, which we really appreciated. He speaks and understands English well, making it easy for us to communicate and fully enjoy the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful and unforgettable tour. Highly recommended!

The guide was excellent! We met at the First Bank at 9:00 AM and then drove for 3.5 hours to Alishan, with a few stops along the way. Once we arrived in Alishan, we had lunch and then began exploring this beautiful forest together. The guide knows this vast forest perfectly, with its rich history and numerous trees. Around 3:30 PM, we enjoyed some teas grown in this beautiful forest. We started our return journey around 4:00 PM and arrived back in town around 7:30 PM. I 100% recommend this guide, who is kind, an expert in his field, and we had a lot of fun together. We were a group of four, which made for a great sense of camaraderie. Thank you again, Mr. Guide!

We had an amazing experience with Apple Tour Guide on our trip to Alishan Forest. Apple was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. He shared interesting facts about the area, nature, and local culture, and made sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. I can’t recommend him enough.

Fantastisk tur med Johnny! Han var fantastisk - venlig, energisk og tålmodig, han viste os de smukkeste dele af Alishan og et godt sted at se solopgangen væk fra folkemængderne, alt imens han forklarede alt grundigt. Han tog også smukke billeder af os. Alishan er et besøg værd, selvom køreturen er lang - fra gåturene i skoven gennem magiske landskaber til den fantastiske solopgang - jeg elskede det. Indkvarteringen var god - ren, komfortabel og kun to minutters gang fra toget for at se solopgangen.

Vaness was my tour guide and we did so much on this 3 day trip. The nature sights looked unreal. I also ate very well in this tour and the hotels that were booked were in very convenient locations. I highly recommend this tour to see Taiwan! One of the best memories on this trip was being lucky enough to see the sunrise at Alishan with the sea of clouds and mountains in the horizon.
