Mr. Takamatsu, our guide, contacted us in advance via email to confirm the meeting point. He was incredibly kind and engaging, constantly checking what we wanted to see and eat, and readily answered any questions we had. It was a very relaxed way to get to know the area around Osu Kannon. Today's foodie tour was an excellent experience. The variety of food stops allowed us to explore authentic local flavors, and each location had its own unique charm. It's a fantastic show that I absolutely don't regret. The arena is located a 10-minute walk from the castle, ideally combine the two, have an early lunch, make a stop at Lawson (on the right) for drinks and snacks on the way: otherwise, you can eat on-site but it's less good and expensive. The guides await you in front of the arena at the entrance of the large university building. You will be given your precious tickets (ouch, the face value hurts), an English audio guide, a map of the venue, and the fight schedule. Brief explanations are given at the introduction, but the guides remain available throughout the match to answer your questions and are charming. We were seated in the last 5 rows of the stands, but you can see very well from everywhere. The 5 hours there fly by. My 12-year-old daughter loved the pre-show shopping, the shaved ice with syrup, the atmosphere in the hall, and following the fights by betting on each player.

The driver and contact staff, Yanzi, were friendly, polite, responsible, and very competent, which made the trip even better!
