Nagoya Castle & Hisaya-odori Park Half-Day Small Group Cultural Tour

I would give 6 stars! Don't go by yourself, but take a tour. It's so worth it! Risa was an amazing guide who spoke fluent English and guided me through Nagoya Castle with many interesting stories. I would not have enjoyed the tour if I had done it by myself. She went above and beyond to help me enjoy my stay in Nagoya. I highly recommend this tour, especially if Risa is your guide!

This time, I was the only one, and the tour guide meticulously introduced Nagoya Castle from the inside out. I could ask any questions at any time, and the guide was very friendly and answered everything. Although the main castle is still under renovation, its exterior is still very magnificent. I look forward to visiting inside the castle once it's completed.

Nice summer walk with Taka. It was a good opportunity to learn more about Japanese history and culture during this tour. Taka was very nice to answer all my questions and show me around the castle. The place was not crowded and it was possible to see everything with calm and enjoy the walk. I highly recommend the tour!

The tour was well worth it! Taka-san was very informative and funny. My sister and I learned a lot about the castle and its gardens during the entire 2.5 hours of the tour. He provided trivia quizzes related to the garden and castle, which he rewarded us with sweets for, even if I got no correct answer. 😂 And, at the end of the tour, as a bonus, he pointed us to several local restaurants where we might enjoy Nagoya-only cuisine.

The tour guide was excellent, a very kind lady. She even waited for us for 10 minutes after we went to the wrong place. We are very grateful; with her, we learned more about Nagoya's history.

I had only one day to spend in Nagoya, so I joined this tour to easily enjoy the city’s atmosphere and get a sense of its history. Although there were several groups that day, the guide was attentive to each one, making it a truly enjoyable and memorable experience.
