Passeios por Dazaifu

The driver messaged us on WhatsApp the day before to confirm our day tour. It wasn't difficult to find the meetup location at Kumamoto Station. The driving to all destinations was safe and smooth. The driver was attentive and shared brief but useful insights about each attraction. My only complaint is the short duration at each attraction; the tour would have been more enjoyable if they had extended the time spent at Takachiho Gorge.

Please check your email for the exact first meeting location! Most of the participants were Chinese, and about 10% were from other countries. The scale was not too large, and it was charming and pleasant. The guide was also kind, and the train option I chose was incredibly good. It was a complete healing time. It was comfortable and nice not to worry about train reservations or transportation. However, due to the nature of the package tour, the free time wasn't very long, especially at the Sea Hell. It was a shame that there was a traffic accident during the journey, which caused a road blockage, but that couldn't be helped! Still, we traveled comfortably in a cute small bus. It was actually better that it wasn't a big charter bus, wouldn't you say? For Koreans who want to travel with foreigners, this might be a good option to consider.

Sun fue un guía muy informativo y aprendí mucho. El castillo es impresionante y vale la pena visitarlo, pero la vista desde las llanuras de Aso es increíble. Un paisaje tan extraño que recomendaría encarecidamente este viaje.

I would like to commend our tour guide Helen. He speaks English fluently and patiently answers all questions. She has a lot of knowledge about the tourist spots and is willing to take a photo for you. That’s a plus, especially for solo travelers. Thank you so much, Helen!!! Sayonara…..

Kevin hizo que el viaje fuera realmente memorable. Lo pasamos muy bien, todo estuvo muy bien organizado. Aunque el tiempo de viaje fue un poco largo, se pasó volando gracias a que Kevin no paraba de contar chistes y mantuvo un ambiente excelente.

The tour guide was excellent, very enthusiastic and helpful, taking good care of everyone. It was a fulfilling day, with no need to worry about travel time. We had ample time at each attraction.

This tour, taken at half price, offered excellent value for money! The itinerary ran from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM, arriving back at Hakata Station, providing a full day of activities. The schedule and transportation arrangements were very smooth! The 3-hour visit to Yufuin allowed ample time to enjoy the autumn foliage and sample local delicacies. In Beppu, we had a short but good experience visiting the hot springs, soaking our feet, and trying hot spring eggs. The only slight drawback was the last stop, Dazaifu, where the visit was short and it was already approaching dusk, with many shops preparing to close. We didn't have enough time to explore the historic garden, rich in Japanese charm, which was a minor imperfection.
