Passeios por Loch Ness

Amazing 3D2N tour with HAGGiS Highland Tour Guide Liz, who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I highly recommend booking with them for a wonderful drive through the Isle of Skye. We even saw snow ❄️! This is March, it's Spring! But shortly after it was sunny again. Typical UK weather, so be sure to pack warm. Remember to take your motion sickness medicine if you have any, as the roads can get windy, but there were plenty of rest stops, maximum every two hours or so. The lodging was a warm, cozy 2-night stay at Skye Inn in Portree, which is super comfortable and had such a delicious breakfast. My only complaint was that the tour wasn't long enough so that we could see more castles and more of the Isle of Skye's beautiful skylines.

My guide and driver for the day was Keith (09 May 26). I chose the Loch Ness and Highlands tour. The drive was very informative and educational; I was able to appreciate the history of Scotland and the Highlands. The areas we visited and the nature were beautiful too. The drive felt safe, and I was also able to appreciate the scenery along the way.

We came in the beginning of November and it's still a lovely season. Without much crowds and with some nice autumn vibes. Of guide (and driver) Craig was very nice and funny. He told us many local legends and was flexible with the plans. We actually visited even more then was mentioned in Klook. Unfortunately, due to season we couldn't see highland coos up close, but we could spot them from far. It's hard to describe how stunning the views of Scotland are! And also looking back at my pictures I spotted Nessy on one of them! What a coincidence! Also I had no idea that the rock from my favorite Prometheus movie was in the Isle of Skye. Overall very good and packed tour. Could be even better if we could sto walk more in the middle of the nature.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastisk tur – Uforglemmelig oplevelse i højlandet! Jeg deltog i denne 2-dages tur til Isle of Skye, og den var helt utrolig fra start til slut! Vores guide, Willie, gjorde turen helt speciel – han var utrolig vidende, sjov og underholdt os med højlandshistorie, legender og klog humor hele vejen. Man kunne mærke, at han virkelig elsker sit arbejde, og den energi gjorde de lange køreture ubesværede og fornøjelige. Turen dækker et væld af fantastiske steder, herunder: Dunvegan Castle, Kilt Rock, Old Man of Storr, Portree, Fairy Pools, Eilean Donan Castle. Hvert stop havde tilstrækkelig tid til fotos, korte gåture eller blot at suge højlandets magi til sig. Også en stor tak til værten på Hillfoot (vores indkvartering) – absolut dejlig, imødekommende og fik os til at føle os hjemme. Denne tur er perfekt, hvis du vil se det bedste af Skye og højlandet. Kan varmt anbefales – og hvis du er heldig nok til at få Willie som din guide, er du garanteret en fantastisk rejse!

Experienced driver, fully aware of road conditions and time.

Our guide is Karen, and she is an excellent guide and driver. Safety is her number one priority, and she is very good with train timings. She helped us catch the train and took us to many beautiful spots for great photos. We are so glad to have had her on this trip. Thank you so much, Karen.

Starting from the canal, there are stops along the way to the castle. The comfortable tour boat, accompanied by engaging commentary from the guide, allows you to admire the magnificent Loch Ness. It's a very relaxing sightseeing activity. It would be even better if this activity included time for a castle tour.

The itinerary was awesome—definitely a better tour compared to the one from Edinburgh. The tour from Inverness covered more places and offered even better scenery. We were lucky to spot Scottish cows and see the castle beautifully lit up at night. The weather was perfect, with plenty of sunlight. Mike was friendly and a great driver—we felt very safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Although there were small hiccups in the morning due to the bus being late from operational issues, the tour eventually turned out really well. No regrets traveling all the way north to Inverness for this tour.
