I had a truly wonderful experience. Since I planned to stay overnight in Shirakawago after the bus tour, I asked in advance whether I could join the tour and disembark there—and the staff responded promptly and positively. On the day of travel, we gathered at Kanazawa Station, which was easy to access and well-organized. Our guide, Aiko, was warm, energetic, and exceptionally hospitable. She spoke fluent English, shared insightful commentary throughout the journey, and was always attentive to the needs of the group. The bus made a stop at Shirakawago, one of Japan’s celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The atmosphere and scenery were breathtaking—especially for those with an interest in traditional architecture, cultural heritage, and rural landscapes. It was the perfect blend of thoughtful planning and immersive experience.

We had the most amazing guide for this tour, Yasushi, who made the day so enjoyable and relaxing. He gave us great and valuable information on the bus so we could have as much time to ourselves in Shirakawa-go once we arrived. His local food recommendations were spot on, some of the best food we have had. The gardens were beautiful and the craft sessions were a lot of fun and something a bit different and special to add to our trip. Highly recommend this tour.

We were a small group of four, and our driver and guide, Master Ma, was patient, gentle, and helped us a lot. The scenery in Shirakawa-go is beautiful and highly recommended.

Tuvimos un gran recorrido con nuestro guía Jorge, quien realmente se aseguró de que viéramos algunos de los lugares de interés de Kanazawa a los que los grupos turísticos normales no van y lugares que nunca habríamos descubierto por nuestra cuenta. Shirakawa-Go and Kanazawa were wonderful to explore. We made Wagashi (Japanese sweets) and tried making gold leaf postcards. Our guide, Yasushi, was very kind and gave us information about Japanese history and the places we visited.
